We have been eating at the TWISTED NOODLE BAR for a few years now. This is a small restaurant with a big taste. This place appears very popular with trendy young Asians Always busy. The food concept is you choose the Flavour of your soup , hot spice , sweet , sour . also you can order mini plates of... More

As we already bought some chicken bites and pearl milk tea, my friend she didn't really want noodle anymore, she still happy to accompany me. then, we decided to walked all the way from town hall QVB to Twisted noodle shop at Dixon street in China town... Twisted Noodle is a small diner in the midst of busy China Town. Unpretentious and very seriously gastronomic. Winter bit Sydney on Sunday, my last day. A hot dish seemed appropriate, and noodles was it. Choosing a restaurant in China town was like trying to buy a white shirt in Cotton On. They looked pretty much same same. Novelty won... More

Eat here on blind date. Food was good, especially for me I like extra spicy yunnan. Frank doesn't like spicy had chiken wings, sausages, tofu, and egg with rice. He liked alot too. Thanks very much to kun pa who gave us cute drinks because we looked like a cute couple.

After the recommendation of a certain celebrity chef (Hint: Asian, quite dashing) we headed to this cute noodle bar. Yunnan, China is famous for its Tea, its beautiful scenery and its spicy cuisine. Not a fan of spice myself I had a vegetarian fish soup with thick vermicili noodles, hubby is more adventurous but even he thought the "Extreme" chilli... More

Second time here. So happy I found it. The foods still great. Sat out the front and watched all the people walking past from Sydney Chinatown (even on a Wed winters night) From here I discovered its only a short walk to Darling Harbour and all it's attractions.

I love spicy and i love noodles so i thought I'd better give it a go. I can only say it was average at best. While it was very tasty and spicy to my liking, i think i ruined a good shirt. Don't wear nice clothes when you eat here. Also there are a lot of young smokers nearby that... More

I was doing the tourist thing and walking along the China town area in Sydney when I found exactly what I wanted. Real Chinese style food. I had just come back from a 2 week stint across many different parts of China and I wanted to re-live the great food we had there. Twisted Noodle hit the spot. With traditional... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
