Although I think the $55 banquet price was reasonable the cost of wine is not. The bill just balloons with a single glass of wine either close to $10 or $16 for a slightly larger pour.

I was very excited to try Jamie Oliver's Italian hotspot in Sydney. Unfortunately, when we arrived on a Tuesday evening at 5:45, they were already out of the special. We were forced to order what amounted to a very average Italian experience. The salad wasn't very inspired coming from a Chef driven to quality and healthy foods...

Great atmosphere, and fantastic food. Best pasta I've had. Waitress was a lovely young lady with a great personality. She took care of us and offered lots of advise. We had a great night - the only negative was that the chairs were a little hard.

I have been to Jamie's Italian a few times and have usually found it to be excellent. This time perhaps it was my choice, or perhaps it was a slightly off day in the kitchen - I chose the burger & was rather underwhelmed - the meat was chewy & the bun very dry. The chips were super disappointing -... More

This restaurant lived right up to our expectations. Buzzy, professional, slick, delicious food, excellent service. You get the feeling Jamie Oliver is in the kitchen. Every member of staff worked hard and did an amazing job. Our waitress - from Barcelona- was amazing. Knew the menu inside out, was friendly and helpful and was on the go constantly. Very impressive... More

The flavour and value was excellent. Being in the heart of the CBD, finding food and service for a young family is not always easy, but at Jamie's Italian they certainly exceeded expectations. All meals were served quick and no one went home hungry. The kids meals are very healthy and the right sizes, whilst the adult serves, both generous... More

No doubt you can always get a good meal at any of Jamies Restaurants. This one is a long and narrow space. Very noisy. Drinks rther expensive.

Steak with a blob of herb butter, two leaves with some shredded Parmesan and some chips. $32 Very bland! Not what I expected from this restaurant. Ate near the kitchen. Staff dropped utensils and plates about ten times. Won't be going there again!

They try hard but it lacks freedom to break out of the strict formula they must have to adhere to to get the licence too inflexible and snobby service

Jamie's Italian Sydney is split over two levels with an intimate ground floor restaurant and a mezzanine level featuring an open kitchen so you can watch the chefs at work.
