This place is a little bit more expensive compared to other Chinese restaurant but the variety and quality of food makes up for it. My favourites that I recommend are the Peking duck in a flaky roti roll and the pan fried prawn dumplings. They...More

Recommended by a Melbourne chef friend, we were not disappointed. The flavours were fresh yet familiar and even our normally fussy children adored the food. Definitely recommend for a great meal with friendly service.

Lively atmosphere, attentive staff, with full view of kitchen behind glass backed by an extensive menu, sets the scene. The Chefs Gallery delivered an inventive & delicious feast to the senses. Wine selection included some good value choices. A great place for a long..or short...More

In a city that surprisingly lacks top drawer chinese food, this place stands out. Unique menu for the non-chinese regular and great depth to the dishes

I hadn't been to Chef's Gallery before even though I work 2 minutes away! On a day off I went for lunch with my husband and daughter and it will not be the last time we dine there. The food was fabulous, the staff were...More

Had my lone dinner here and ordered the roasted duck fried rice plus seafood siumai with avocado—both tasted good! I left the place full and satisfied. Good quality food and ingredients.

quite good, especially the roasted Chinese pancake with Peking duck. the lost star is due to the long queue; the waitress' voice is too low then we missed the call....

Fantastic to have the opportunity to experience freshly hand pulled noodles, I don't reckon it's worth waiting in line for though.also the wagyu beef dish uses such low quality wagyu that you could be forgiven for thinking is plain old rump steak .

Had dinner with friends. Very popular. A long queue in front of it before it opened for dinner. Food is mixed style - Chinese, South East Asia... all are delicious. My friend likes the handmade noodle here, but we ordered stir-fried rice this time, and...More

Glad that restaurant allowed booking as it seemed always packed, hence not sure how long the wait would be for walk-ins. Dishes are mainly Shanghai based (i think). Plenty of choices for food and generally all the dishes we ordered taste good and the presentation...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens

Chefs Gallery is a Sydney Chinese dining experience like no other. Its exceptional menu presents masterpieces from all corners of China in a sumptuous kaleidoscopic explosion of fresh and exciting flavours, textures and aromas. At Chefs Gallery we embrace the Chinese cultural heritage of sharing meals - where dining is casual in its structure with no designated entrees or main courses. Instead, our Chapas (Chinese style tapas) offers an extensive range of creative dishes with a modern twist that are specially prepared in delicious small portions for sampling and sharing with family and friends. Among these are some traditional and familiar dishes that have also been given the Chefs Gallery Chapas treatment. The signature Chefs Gallery fresh, handmade noodles take centre stage behind the glass-walled kitchen. Patrons can watch the culinary theatre as balls of special noodle dough are transformed to form the finished twists of delicate noodles, in a blur of dexterous hand movements by the master noodle chef. From traditional noodles to new flavours like spinach and squid ink, these silken strands are all freshly prepared, being pulled, split and folded in minutes and cooked specifically to your order.
