The food and wine at Felix is fantastic. The garlic prawns in garlic butter are a must try. The spatchcock and lamb mains were so rich in flavour and cooked perfectly. Service was great and the wine recommendation was perfect.

Great ambience, excellent food, but watch for the ripoffs. Would you like still or sparkling? One of each please. BUT not the litre-size bottles that arrived already opened. No glasses or small bottles? Next, you will pay for the bread, not ordered, that arrives next....More

I was lucky to have a table just in between the inside ( noisey ) and the outside ( direct sun ). My french business partner and I could not resist the double baked shuffle and they were perfect ( see photo ). The specials...More

Having recently returned from France, I was thrilled to visit this cosmopolitan restaurant with outdoor seating and feel a touch of the city I fell in love with in France. The pork terrine entrée was great and my favourite chicken spatchcocks were delicious. The staff...More

If you want someone out the way to impress for a business meeting this is a good place to try. The service was reasonable, portions were as expected but the price was a little off. I guess you are paying for the number of staff...More

The food was delicious but the service was appalling and the restaurant very noisy. They couldn’t remember who ordered which dish on every course despite writing it down and fussed around the table with the dishes in a very distracting manor. I ordered steak frites...More

It was a business lunch. We were taking a break before going to another meeting. My colleagues had the oysters, salad and onion soup while I ordered the onion soup and baked flounder whichnwas the catch of the day. The restaurant was noisy and not...More

Ate at an outside table where dining traffic was as interesting as the French food. Staff attentive and friendly. Entrees arrived quickly after ordered and there was time to digest before the mains arrived.

For the price you pay this restaurant is awful. Even though we had a booking and the restaurant was virtually empty we were made to wait and they didn’t really explain why. Our waitress was quite rude, felt as though she was treating us as...More

Perfect French style with a proper Maitre d’ and friendly garçon attending your every need. Food quality is excellent. Priced are very reasonable. And the brigade know what they’re doing. Great quality, portion size perfect, environment perfect. So good we’ve booked a return visit.

Description
Nestled in Sydney's Ash Street laneway, this elegant bistro’s classic French fare is perfectly matched by an extensive wine list. Felix is affectionately designed as a romantic homage to the quintessential French brasserie. Diners are charmed by its many authentic touches; like walls featuring real Parisian subway tiles, imported French chandeliers, a beautiful pewter bar and food delivered by waiters in traditional long-aprons.
