The best coffee we had during a two week road trip along the NSW coast. Friendly relaxed staff. Worth a detour

A cool swanky cafe in the alley sums up this place. You'd expect to find this in Melbourne, so it's cool to have something in Coffs with some edgy decor and great coffee.

The one star is for the decor. The lane way location and gothic fit out is ultra cool but did not make up for the shortfall in service and coffee. We’d heard great things about this cafe so went with high hopes. The coffee is...More

Went to Dark Arts Coffee Academy for lunch - had a V, DF, GF meal - was very small serving, some food components in the dish stale (supermarket packaged beetroot chips etc, chick peas) - and very expensive for what it was. Tried to serve...More

I had the best coffee I’ve had in years here as did my husband. dark, very hot and not burnt-tasting as is so often the case. The atmosphere is very gothic - you can see a lot of thought why into making this gorgeous cafe...More

Coffee was its usual standard - great. Had breakfast as well one morning. The best Banana Bread I've had in a long time. Just love the whole menu. The staff are friendly and helpful. Love this place
