We ate in the restaurant on Easter Sunday as a group and were cajoled into ordering the banquet instead of being able to make our own selections from the menu which may have been ok. The banquet food was poor quality and at $50 per head, terrible value for money. The presentation of food was ordinary too - for example,... More

Jimmypound124, we are disappointed you didn't enjoy your visit to our new Fillos Taverna & Bar. We have had some great feedback so far on it's opening, but glad you let us know your thoughts. I have forwarded your feedback on to the owner of this restaurant and he too was disappointed you didn't enjoy your experience. He has asked... More

While the fish and steak on display are as they appear, and nicely cooked, its not often that you go to a even a bistro and get served frozen veges and frozen roast potatoes anymore - they are very average, and when you pay $28 for a steak, I think the quality of the veges should be the same. Also... More

The thing about the Hellenic is the consistency. Good steaks, fish and good portion sizes mean that one usually goes home satisfied, if not excited by the offerings. Way better than the Greek trattoria next door, which was pretty ordinary and massively overpriced.

Wonderful Food Menu and about 10 draught beers on tap. Plenty of wine by the glass as well. Offered the 550g T bone steak around $30 but had the 350g scotch fillet. Perfect Medium Rare at $28.00. Highly Recommend

We went back to the bistro to try other food ensuring to avoid the chicken kiev drowning in butter. Why why why did I bother. This time I had chicken souvlaki with vegetables and potatoes. When I got it I noticed how horrible the veges looked and got chips instead. I hate when they stuff up my meals every time... More

This restaurant has changed. I feel obliged to write a review because I told everyone how fantastic it was. I went back last night and there were different people. I had spinach pie because my favourite dish was no longer on the menu. I should have been given a steak knife to cut it with! The complimentary entree/taster is gone... More

We absolutely love this club. We do several trips to Canberra a year( family here) the food is fabulous, the staff friendly. It's a huge venue, coffee shop, lounges, several other restaurants. Has a play room for children. Great menus choices & fabulous service. Definitely our first choice. I'm gluten intolerant and they have lovely sweets that are suitable too... More

I attended a weekend conference on the 25th and 26th February 2017 and found the facilities excellent. A very good reasonably priced two course dinner was served to our delegates by efficient and courteous staff with hand served coffee and tea also provided. A well stocked and staffed bar is also provide in the conference room for those wanting a... More

What an evening of contrasts. We booked to try the set price Valentines Day Dinner Menu at the much hyped Orexi Restaurant in the Hellenic Club. The front of house greeter could not have been more friendly and was beautifully presented (Nathalie). She welcomed us to our table. Our waitress for the night was obviously new or 'in traning'. She... More

I took my daughter to lunch at the Hellenic Club bistro in Woden today and ended up being quite disappointed. My daughter ordered lasagna which unfortunately had run out, no problem, I looked at the specials board and ordered the grilled salmon. When the salmon arrived it was a salmon cutlet which was full of bones and very oily as... More
