Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Me and my significant other went to Hiiumaa for a few days and stayed in Kärdla to enjoy the slow pace of the city. Naturally, we needed food and in the center we found this cash-only place that offered a ton of different delicious home-made...dishes. They seem to be the first place to open early in the morning - about 7.15 AM if i am not mistaken so we were even able to get an early morning coffee to go when we boarded the bus back to mainland. The prices are the friendliest around and all of our visits there were positive. I will definitely visit them in case i happen to go to Kärdla.More

It seems to be THE place to have lunch when in Kardla. Especially for locals, for those who are on a memory trip, but would probably be interesting for tourists too. The food is a bit like it used to be at Soviet times. Only...very good quality and very tasty. Boiled potatoes, meatballs, meat-sauces, sausages. Basic, no fuss and fast. Like your grandma would probably make.More

I have looked for a place that doesn't have coffee in fancy little cups for ages. This place is it. They have coffee in mugs. Glass mugs. They open at 7 in the morning and you don't have to wait for food - it's actually...waiting for you. You take your food to your table and take the dishes back after you're done. Prices are so low it's insane. Coffee+juice+pancakes=3€More

Very popular among locals, at lunch time crowded, but very fast service. It's a real peace of history: an old workers cafeteria. Very cheap, I got main dish (fresh local fish + soup) for 6 EUR. Gourmans, keep away (all though food delicious), but nothing...hipster or Michelin star-like. Still highly recommended.More

As we arrived to Kardla from Tallin we were tired and hungry and we decided to get in. The girl at the desk was very friendly and helped us traslating for us the dishes. My boyfriend and I took Snitsel. It was very tasty and...the price was so cheap that I thougt it might be a mistake. It was really nice and we will recommend it!More

We decided to have lunch there. The food was average, the interior was average but the stuff was friendly and nice. This experience wasn't much memoriable. Just the place to eat a quick meal.
