When you see the outside of the Prince Rupert you will want to check the age, it was 1452. Inside are bare wooden tables where you have to find a place because it can be crowded. Don’t be put off, you will find a place,...More

Two of us ate a starter, two mains, 125ml wine, half lager and a tonic for £45. Food was simple and good. No service, just delivery but that was fine. Friendly staff in old, well maintained pub. What's not to like?

Love this pub, it's always busy, lots of local interest but also visiting real ale fanatics. We've not eaten yet as it does sometimes have a waiting time on food, due to it being so popular.. Sure we will eat there soon!
