I was very surprised because of quality of food and very fast service . The staff was very kind , was able to talk in Polish, English, Germans as well. Well done. The owner was very kind and always trying to helped us to get the best food for us.
Very convenient is a quite big car park. If we will be at this area next time I will definitely choose this bistro because of the food, the quality and short time for service. Well done and thank you.

I’m came from Kosice and we don’t even have such a great Italian restaurant in our town.
Everything on the menu is master class. This was our second visit and I am still surprised how fast you get your food on the table even when it’s full.

A restaurant next to the road in Dolny Smokovec. I joined as a part of a big group and had no expectations before showing up.
I must admit I was positively supprised when arriving to a place with such a cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and italian owner/chef.
The pizza's were made from authentic italian ingredients and were with no doubt among the best pizzas I have ever tasted in my life (this include several vacations to Italy). The tiramisu was also amazing. Visit this restaurant. You won't regret this!

I always enjoy a spectacular coffee and a dessert or special made pizza & pasta after a demanding ski tour or a bike ride. one of if not the best Italian bistros in Slovakia. thank you for feeding me :D and I m looking forward to visiting soon.

We went here with the intention of enjoying a typical Neapolitan pizza, as the description of this restaurant said. The food was below average and the pizza definitely was not Neapolitan. We also tried the typical tiramisu which should be made from mascarpone and it is safe to say that this dessert was anything but tiramisu.
The staff was friendly but slow and not very observant.
Our overall experience was very average and we were not really satisfied.

Good Day, thansk for you review and will try to respond to your points. I am the Italian owner and in all honesty i have prepared our menu' following the recommendation of majority of our loyal customers and for this reason :
- we prepare throughout the season more types of pizza and in this last period the one we offered to our customers is a version called "Pizza romana" , which is a blend between the pizza napoletana and the type served in north of Italy. I am surprised you did not enjoy it because we got also a reward for taste & quality of the dough.
- the Tiramisu' we serve at Manuel are of 2 types : during winter season we use more mascarpone but in the summer hot season we add yogurt in order that is not too heavy ( we made this recipe following requests from our customers) so that is why you did not feel toot much mascarpone.
- concerning the staff i will personally look in this matter and check if there were any issues with it.
In conclusion i would like to invite you once again at Manuel and try the other type of Pizza and tiramisu. Grazie

I was on a business trip to Bratislava and some friends suggested me to visit Tatry mountains just to refresh for a few days. Well, I discovered a place I thought I could find only in Little Italy, New York. A taste of pure Italian cuisine and atmosphere having all in 1 place, including a small grocery corner for your purchases. The very best of Italian home made style cooking!

Have been in Manuel Caffe many times and never was disappointed : friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere ,
quality Italian food selection & coffee experience was sublime. Definitively deserves a visit if you are in High Tatras.

Malý tatranský klenot v Smokovci… zastavili sme uplnou nahodou ale budeme pravidelny zakaznici… Mile male talianske bistro zo skvelou a rychlou obsluhou… Mali sme paradajkovu polievku, pizzu Trillogia, biele vinko a koláče všetko bolo EXCELENTNE!!! Uz sa tešim na dalšiu návštevu…😍😍😍
A little Tatra jewel in Smokovec... we just ho around, but we will be regular customers... Nice small Italian bistro with excellent and fast service... We had tomato soup, Trillogia pizza, white wine and cakes, everything was EXCELLENT!!! I'm already looking forward to my next visit...😍😍😍

We ended up in this place three times and each time pizza was first class, just perfect. There is nothing else to add about pizza there, just go and enjoy.

Very tasty Italian food & good wine :) We were there twice during our 6 days’ stay at Stary Smokovec and can say this was the best restaurant we visited there. Even though the outside doesn’t say that you will find there so good food, being encouraged by high scores on Tripadvisor, we decided to give it a try. All dishes were just perfect and our stomachs were fully satisfied :) Service is fast & very kind, prices reasonable :) Strongly recomended :)
