About
The Pheasant is a stunning Shropshire country inn, owned and restored by the community and dates back to the 18th century. We offer a menu of classic English dishes supplemented daily by tempting seasonal specials. We serve real ales from Shropshire and further afield and offer a list of wines full of interest, many available by the glass. The picturesque setting of Neenton among the Shropshire Hills and the old pub with its magnificent new Oak Room, characterful interiors and orchard garden make an idyllic place to enjoy a relaxing drink or our delicious food. Warm fires will welcome you whenever it's chilly. Our three new en-suite bedrooms and splendid breakfasts make the Pheasant a perfect

So brilliant we don’t want to tell anyone about it! Incredible food and ambience. Super staff and a menu I could eat every day! We had duck as a main, seared and pink with a gorgeous sticky jus and fresh vegetables. Starter for me was...crispy boned chicken thigh with Korean sticky sauce , adorable. My other half had the rarebit with crab, small but delicious. Pudding was a honey parfait and for me some sorbets. All perfect. We enjoyed the log fire and our dog snoozed next to us, and the red wine topped it all off. We shall return. Staff were super as well.More

We had a delicious lunch last week at The Pheasant at Neenton. Wonderful atmosphere, plenty of diners, the fires were roaring and the food was memorable. The staff were efficient particularly Ellie who was running the restaurant. I would highly recommend it and we will...be back to sample the delights of the ever changing menu.More

Wow, wow, wow. One of the best lunches we've had in a long time. The food was fabulous. You don't often see Beef Wellington on a menu and it was devine. The staff were excellent too, both friendly and efficient. Thank you The Pheasant. Hope...to return very soon.More

Although I live about an hour to the west of Neenton, this place has become a regular lunch time venue for me meeting friends from the West Midlands. The food and service is so good and I really like the fact that I can park...right outside the restaurant, unlike central Bridgnorth where parking is a trial. Not cheap but not OTT either, good value if you take into account the excellent quality of the food. The linguine starter was delicious; the steak I ordered was cooked exactly as I asked and the whole meal was scrumptiousMore

Can only compliment the Chef on a wonderful meal - with the exception of the steak tartare this was a fabulous meal. The only downside was cold espresso coffee. I wish more places would learn to heat the coffee cups before adding the coffee!

What a little gem this dining pub is. I stumbled upon it when searching for restaurants near Bridgnorth on google maps. We were not disappointed, the menu choice was superb, there was nothing I wouldn't have chosen. We had seared duck breast with parsnips and...a pistachio and orange jus served with buttered new potatoes and tender stem broccoli, all absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend highly enough.More

Yes indeed. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome in the Main Bar and Village Bar. And also if you come to stay with us.
