We ordered a tuna sandwich, chicken curry with rice, fruit drinks, chicken & fries and stew. We all enjoyed our food. They accept cash only, and outdoor seating only. At the road that goes down to Grand Anse beach. Our 11 year old enjoyed the tuna sandwich so much that we went back again but they only serve them until 6 pm. They sell out of items and then it is not available again until the next day.

We had little time left on La Digue and discovered this place while biking from Grand Anse back to the jetty. We had the most delicious fish curry ever - very balanced, flavourful and excellent fish. Serving size is generous and prices are very low in comparision to the average restaurant on the Seychelles. We started talking to the chef about the local ingredients as we shared the love for genuine cooking and fresh ingredients. As we never had fresh bilimbi before the chef picked us a full bag in his garden right behind the truck - thats as fresh as it gets. The fresh Ambarella/Golden apple (Spondias dulcis) juice is very recomendable and quite an exclusive taste. We would love to come back and share more delicious experiences!

We got here after our host's recommendation and we had dinner here 3 days in a row! You can never get enough of these creole dishes, served with love and a huge smile by the staff. The menu is rather diverse and very cheap (fish curry for SCR 90!!). They do takeaways, but we strongly recommend staying I'm the seating area and have a nice chat with the owners. They are close and friendly. If available, give it a go to the palm heart salad with marinated fish... Simply superb!

The couple who runs this basic, but very friendly and cosy cafe are experts on great food and really good service! We have spent a month in Seychelles and this is our favourite! Food is very tasty and made with love. Service is outstanding and super friendly. We have asked for dishes and drinks outside of the menu (as we have been dining many times there) and the food we were offered exceeded our expectations. Both the dishes from the menu (amazing curries!) and the fish carpaccio (needs to be pre-ordered 2 days ahead of time) were of top quality. Very short waiting time and still the owners take their time to chat with every customer. The place is run with love for food and care for customers. Very convenient location - on the way from Grande Anse. An absolute must when visiting La Digue!

After a pretty bad experience with a regular restaurant in La Digue, we wanted to try out this place. IT WAS SPECTACULAR! It was a bit hard to find the place...When we arrived and saw the prices, we were like "oh it cannot be so good, it is so cheap!". The staff was so kind and place was busy so i cannot say that we waited so long. And when we had our food (5 people with different orders), everything was so big and so tasty! I personally don't like octopus, but octopus salad was really good. So were fish fillet, fish curry, chicken curry, rice...If you are hungry and don't want to spend a fortune in a restaurant, try here and you wouldn't be disappointed.

Family-run restaurant with excellent food in nice environment. All dishes from the menu we have tasted were perfect. Great value for money! In addition, we asked for fish carpaccio (needs to be pre-ordered 2 days in advance) and were served a 5-star dish with excellent fresh fish with super tasty garnish. Very friendly owners and homey atmosphere made this place our absolute favourite on La Digue and in Seychelles!

Absolutely amazing! Our favorite place in La Digue. Food is delicious and cheap, service is outstanding. Lady at the desk is sooo nice!!! One of the best persons we met in Seychelles. We could eat in some other places, that were nearby, but preferred to ride on a bike much further to get meal from this place :)

Delicious food, super friendly owners that will do everything to ensure you have a great meal. Don’t miss this place whilst in La Digue. The chili sauce is fantastic and if you get the chance to eat the beef stew take it!!! We didn’t take a photo because we ate everything so quickly:)

I read the reviews and wanted to try this place. We shared a curry for lunch and it was really good. My husband added all the chilli sauce the lady gave us.....which she thought was very funny. For $6.00 Australian.....it was great.....and then 2 cold beers :)

By far the best kept secret in La Digue, so good some said even better than in Praslin and Mahe! We actually dined here 3 times in a row for lunch. Creole style, must try the grill fish, fish curry, chicken curry and the tuna sandwich. The food comes out pretty quick too and always taste fresh. The price is very reasonable and the portion is good but not excessive. You definitely won’t be disappointed. I washed it down with Seybrew beer, and my spouse got the Turtle Cider. Get the ice coffee too, we ordered without sugar since we abit more health conscious, but it’s still taste delicious. Come come come, your trip in La Digue is incomplete if you don’t try it out here! The cook and the lady are very friendly. We get to chit chat a lil bit.

Excellent choice of Creole dishes, high quality and reasonable prices. This family-run restaurant was the top food experience on La Digue and is a must stop on the way to Grand Anse. We have been dining there nearly every day as it is the most friendly restaurant on the island, serving fantastic cuisine. Every dish is prepared with love!

We arrived about an hour before closure so all they had left was beef stew so we ordered a portion for both of us. It was really tasty, included stew rice and salad. The guy taking our order and serving though did not look happy from A to Z at all..

This place by far is my favorite spot in La Digue. Perfect after a beach day and bike ride - the curry’s hit the spot. Ask for some fresh chilli on the side fand don’t leave without the coconut tart. The service is excellent too with super friendly owners. Been there three times ans hoping to do one last stop before we leave. ❤️

We went there for dinner. Before ordering we realized that they did not accept credit cards. We asked information about the closest ATM but they just invited us to order and not care. We should have paid the day after! Amazing…. The first time in my life! Anyway, we ordered chicken carry and vegetable rice and we really liked both! We went there two times more, earlier, and there were many other choices in the menu. We strongly recommend the grilled fish… simply among the best I have ever eaten. The fish was dressed with a creole sauce and served with side rice and every ingredient was properly dosed. The taste of the fish was not covered at all! Very good!

Because of the good reviews we have tried this take away in La Digue and were in a week every day except for the day off there ☺️ the food tastes great, but you should not come after 7 pm because then there are only leftovers. Be sure to try the desserts, the passionfruit mousse is very tasty. The owners of the takeaway are super nice and always ask if everything tastes good. Umbrellas were set up immediately if it rained. It is located a little outside on the way to Grand Anse. Definitely visit when you are on La Digue!
