Stayed 7 Jan so quiet with New Year just over. Comfy rooms with fab views, great food & friendly staff. Also noticed the kitchen staff put real effort in for another couple who had allergy requirements.

We have been here quite a few times and always enjoyed it. Great beers and good walkers food. Fantastic views. The sun always seems to be shining on the terrace. Happy memories.

The food here was amazing, all freshly cooked to order......however, they don't start serving evening meals until 6:30....but you can enjoy a nice drink in the bar while you wait

When we returned there this month it was with some trepidation. Would it live up to our 35-year old memories? Thankfully, yes! We arrived after a... More

Ideally situated in the country with the rooms at the front of the hotel benefitting from the magnificent view over the Lathkil Dale. Excellent food and certainly a place that I will use again.

Lovely hearty pub meals. Beautiful views. Best to book though. Get some elderly groups. Lovely pies. Accommodation too.

We stayed at the Lathkil Hotel, seemingly at the top of the world in Derbyshire's Lathkill dale. The views from the front bedroom windows and the bar and restaurant windows are stunning, looking out over fields of sheep, the hill rolling gently down to the river Lathkill. Utterly relaxing. We took the two back bedrooms; had we known, we would... More

Myself and four friends went for our usual walk, lunch and especially a real ale at the Lathkil,as we have been doing for 20 years. Only to be told we could not have our usual hand pulled pint. We had to be satisfied with left over ale from the weekends beer festival. Straight from the barrel, warm and flat and... More
