I think for Penedo the price might be right, but I still thought it was expensive. However the beer variety is wonderful, as well as the beer itself. The ambient has AC, essential for the summer and is quite pleasant. I ordered the file mit kräuterbutter and it was wonderful, very tasty and I ordered it rare medium, the way... More

Fritz is one of three or four restaurants from the district of Penedo, in the city of Itatiaia, state of Rio, that you can rely on being open almost daily from lunch to dinner. Like the others, be sure that you're gonna find there a good and comfortable food at a fair price.

We - a group of six - were out for a snack and were told that "Casa do Fritz" had some nice sandwiches with sausages. The waiter told us that three sandwiches would serve six, but suggested us to order the bigger plate of the bigger sausage, that came with "plenty of bread" and would satisfy all of us. we... More

Great german food! There is also many trout dishes. They have lots of tipes of homemade beers, and some of theme are incredible. The price is excellent and the service very fast.

The food was not so good. We ordered bacalhau and spaghetti. The spaghetti was not so special and the fish was very salty. The waiter didnt take enough time for us and it looked like they where in a hurry.

I loved the location, just off the downtown area. The restaurant has a wonderful menu and selection of beer. I thought I was in Germany for a moment... I would definitely recommend this restaurant as the food, service, and great selection of craft beers were tops in Penedo

Fritz offers typical german food in spite of being located in a charming Finnish village in Rio de Janeiro State. It is not bad, but nothing special. The menu has several options and we tried the kassler, which was good with the sauerkraut, but the typical german potates salad was just reasonable. You will find better options in the city,... Conveniently located next to the towns touristic center, we were stopping by Fritz for a quick dinner with drinks. The home brewed beer sounded appealing. Despite the flawless service staff, the food and the unique beer turned out to be unpleasant. This is a once in a lifetime experience, because it is not to be repeated.

Os garçons são desatentos, esperei 35 min para poder pagar a conta! The waiters are heedless, I waited 35 minutes to be able to pay the bill!
