Quaint little train station coffee shop, the girls and Dan are always upbeat, nice to walk in and they already have our order ready, the location can't be beat, rent a bike for the trail or take the dog for a walk, just a delightful spot.

My husband and 3 year old and I popped in here last weekend. I had heard great things about the coffee, but nobody had prepared me for the food! We started with a blueberry scone, which we polished off in about 12 seconds. The 3 year old was interested in a ginger cookie, which we all sampled. Freaking amazing. Then... More

Being a biker, it was nice to have a lovely place to drop in after a bike ride on the trails. Trails located at the site and you can go for miles in either direction. Food is great and the beer is even better.

This is a great little cafe. Wonderful coffee, sweets, homemade soup and sandwiches. It is located on a beautiful biking trail with amazing views. And a bike shop as well!

Train Station Bike and Bean is a gem. Not on the usual "highlight reel," it becomes a magnet once discovered. Adjacent to the very hiker/biker friendly rail trail, it is the place for bike rental vacationing, particularly family's. And the included cafe is great for lunch and drinks. Great expresso! And another place with helpful and friendly staff. It's very... More

Stopped here recently with friends for a light lunch. This is a charming little coffee and lunch spot that features primarily soups and sandwiches. There is a nice variety of sandwich options and lovely fruit bars, muffins and cookies for a sweet treat. There are seating options indoors in a vibrant, colourful setting or outside on a small deck. This... More

We had a great day of biking from Tantallon, near St Margarets Bay, to Halifax (30K) along an easy, beautiful, well groomed trail that runs along the old rail line. We started at the Bike and Bean which as their name suggests is a bike store and cafe. The group of us riding - 11 in total - ranged in... More

We stopped for a snack late afternoon and we were pleased with the service and the food served. This old train station is well decorated with local paintings (for sale) on the walls. Soft alternative music helps create a relaxed atmosphere. A bike shop is adjacent to the café, since the train track has been transformed to a bike path.... More

This little spot is just up the road from me. Friendly staff, great coffee and paninis. There's access to a great trail for biking, walking or running, and ample parking.

Thank Mary C
