Great food and cheap comparing to other restaurants around. Also solid portions, lots of selection. And just a few steps from the main square and the beach,

Not much to look at, but the food was really good. Suggest for lunch or dinner. Get it to go and take it to the square or beach. (It looks dirty, cluttered, and smoky; but the food was quick, good and cheap.)

If you want a great place to grab some takeout from and bring back to your place, eat poolside or on the beach, this is it! Great value, low prices, and the food is delicious. I grabbed lunch from this place twice during our stay and everyone enjoyed it greatly.

They CLOSED and they were one of our favorites. We have been coming to Porto Morelos for 6 years. The New restaurant is not bad just different.

Really nice service and absolutely best tacos in town. We went here almost every day, really cheap and nice food. GO if you don't mind the plastic tabels and rustic athmosphere but you appreciate good and descently priced food!

Ducked into here to use the restroom (money in hand because they charge) and was told by the person working there they had no water. Really? How do you wash your hands. Food? MMMM. No thanks.

We ate here our first night in Puerto Moreles. The food was really, really good. We had fish filet in garlic sauce, guac & salsa and garlic bread. They brought in some beer and found me a canned margarreta. it was OK. They charged us too much or this meal.

I live thousands of miles away in a city with enough 5-star restaurants that you could never see them all, but this is my favorite place on the planet. Each time I visit Playa Del Carmen or the area I make it a point to go here at least once. My favorite dish is the Caldo - the most amazing... More

If you want some good tacos for a decent price, head to El Tio's. It is one block off the beach, around the corner from the Grocery store. This is just a hole in the wall, where mainly locals eat, but if you are comfortable eating at a plastic table and chair, this is the place for you! You will... More

We tried some new things here on our recent trip. The fish soup is so flavorful and delicious. Señor Tio also made a special layered tortilla and fish dish, that was so unusual and good. The panuchos and salbutes are always great, both the pork and chicken. This is a fun dining experience!
