If you want the best table, either arrive early or book in advance. We were lucky & arrived early, for a great table - it is a very big restaurant & we went on a Friday & it was soooo busy - never seen anything...like it - so many settings, people & the food was brilliant. Very large groups - but we had no idea until we left & walked back through to see so many people. Live music. The food was delicious & the staff so friendly, highly recommendMore

The tavern is located on a very nice spot, but that is all. Super disappointed from their service, because they did’t allow us to enter with our dogs, even though they had already dogs inside. To be prompt our dogs are english setters, and they...are perfectly ok with restaurants, bars and people. Strongly recommend just to visit the view, the tavern is overrated, people were rude and unpleasant. The worst experience in Zakynthos.More

Great view! We had the 2 person starter 14.50 euro and the 2 person fishdish 58 euro. The food was plenty and delicious. Mythos beer 4 euro very affordable. We spent 100 euro total, but the view alone is worth it! We enjoyed it very...much. Pictures say more than words. Only minor thing is waiters don't pay alot of attention to you, they just bring the food. Otherwise would have been 5*More

Lovely location for a meal with a nice view. Food not up to standard - questionable ingredients (crunchy chicken souvlaki) and relatively small portions. Nice to visit but don't recommend food here.

We used to always visit the restaurant at the top and decided to try Michalis instead.... we were not disappointed... the food was delicious, fresh and local to the island. We were advised that there would be a Greek night, so we came and again...although very busy the food and the atmosphere was amazing.... we got to see the sun setting.. magical....More

Very nice place, good food, polite staff. Good place to make photos. If you arrive in zakinthos, you must visit this location.

Fantastic views but food and service poor. We all felt our meals had been reheated in a microwave. This was the worst meal we have experienced on the island!

We visited here on our holiday 3 weeks ago whilst visiting smugglers cove viewpoint..what a stunning setting, you have never seen such a backdrop..the food was delicious and plentiful, one slight downside was although very friendly, the staff kind of leave you too it, we...had to get their attention a couple of times for different things but it didn’t spoil the visit, definitely worth one for the view and food ..More

Hired a car for the day and just picked this place from the local map we were given. So pleased we did as it was a little tucked out of the way and was worth the drive. Food was tasty and the staff were very...friendly.More

We hired a car to explore the mountains. This taverna was recommended and we were so pleased to find it. We had lunch and there was only a couple of tables occupied. The location is of course second to none! We had thought about going...for the sunset but realised it could be packed and also what a waste of such a view when it gets dark. The food was absolutely fine and coupled with a warm welcome we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.More

Beautiful old tavern with beautiful view and sunset is perfectly located. However, I strongly advise everyone not to eat there! The food is a disaster and also very expensive! The chicken we ordered was from lunchtime, as was the lamb, and it was served cold....The chef in the kitchen does not cook and work. His superb microwaves do the work for him and get the job done! I could see this directly from the table where I ate! Rarely eaten in such a bad Greek taverna and seen a chef without professional honor and passion!More
