This is a super nice place to stay after a long hiking day. We had a wonderful, modern and very clean room, comfortable bed and nice hot shower. But the best thing about this Agriturismo is the food! It is typical local and home made...food with regional grown ingredients. There is only one menu but you can be sure, it is home made!More

Nice place, nice surrounding nice everything except prices: 28euros for a single glass of wine and 2 portions of polenta with cheese. The young owners should review exclusive prices instead they are trying to turn it in a trendy expensive place. Along with the horrible...new building opposite, which has changed the whole place... Of the various alpine locations visited regularly in the area, this is the most sadly transformed.....More

A good value hearty mountain lunch in absolutely beautiful surroundings. We had three course, for three people, a litre of house wine, coffee and digestive and the bill came to 85 Euros. Starter was a meat platter which included a ricotta cheese made by the...restaurant, main of a beef stew with polenta and choice of cakes for desert. Couldn't eat for 24 hours after meal as we were that full!More

Wonderful hiking between swiss and italy. It can be done following several routes. I followed binn passo d arbola alpe forno crampiolo to alpe devero. You can sleep along the trail in a swiss refuge.

Nice the place, very good and available all the staff...the quality of food is good... the only thing I suggest is to make a review of the price!!! I understand that they are in mountan, not in a big city...but it's not possible to spend...40 euros for 4 pieces of cake and 4 cans of beer...More

Alpe Crampiolo is a regular place for us to visit, the area generally provides stunning scenery and beautiful walks for all abilities. For me a day in the mountains is like a weeks holiday with it's peace and tranquility and intoxicating air.After an invigorating walk,...the food at Alpe Crampiolo and the warm welcome make for a perfect day. For the tourist visiting Stresa, the drive is only about 1 hour via Domodossola, and Crodo don't forget to stay in Crodo just outside the village is a lovely shop selling local breads, cheeses, yogourts..great to take home for a memorable nibble...a must visit..
