Very tastfull dishes,friendly staff,and not expensive.Its only about 20 meters to the bus stop.Good kitchen,good wine.

This is a charming restaurant in the heart of Modra. The owner welcomed our party of four adults and four hungry children warmly and graciously. This is a family owned restaurant serving delicious regional foods. The owner was quite helpful, speaking enough English to explain the many choices on the menu. The food deliciously cooked and promptly served. A definite return if we return to the Modra area.

A very nice place with kind owners. Make home made traditional food. Cosy and nice
It’s a bit hard to find since it’s on a basement off the street. Look for no’69 on the Main Street

popped in here for various needs for different eating styles within our family group. the owner was intentive, friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble... would highly recommend for a drink or a meal.
we had some lovely salads, prepared by owners wife. i enjoyed a mexican style with chicken, our son had a chicken breast and we enjoyed beautiful cold beers and coffees. we had a small baby with us and it wasn't any trouble to heat some food up and also provide a little toy car for our grandaughter to play with, thankyou very much to the owner for a wonderful afternoon.

Marvelous find, the chef owner very friendly, and along with his wife, son and daughter the food they serve is both traditional and delicious. Very good value for money

We went to Modra this weekend, we were going to a different restaurant that was recommended by someone but the lady didn't speak English and didn't even make the effort with signs, just simply ignored us!
So we found this lovely place, the owner was extremely nice! we managed to understand each other as he spoke a little bit of English and also German.
The home made garlic soup was great and pork snitzel was the best I have tried ever!! The meat was very soft.
He also invited us to a chocolate and peanut cake that his wife had done and it was simply delicious

I was there three times,and allways was the dish very good,tastfull and cheap.I'll visit it always I come to Modra.The food is tasty and the wine too.

Red dry wine from a local producer was excellent, food (both meat and fish) was good. Good restaurant in the center of Modra.
