We took the whole family for Easter Sunday lunch and everyone enjoyed the food. Locally sourced products all in season. Happy staff and great service. I have already booked my next visit.

I booked this restaurant the day before on the strength of previous reviews. The restaurant was lovely, as was the service. No it's not cheap, and the starter my husband had was very small, but he said it was delicious and wished it was available as a main course. He had a bottle of his favourite wine [Puligny Montrachet] which... More

So far we have only tried the great tapas outside bar and we pleasantly surprised - very unusual and quite exciting. Will have to go back to the main restaurant for a visit to the fantastic meals on offer

Another visit to the Richmond arms, new menu since our last visit and some lovely new things to try, had the king crab claw for starters and the turbot as a main plus lovely desert I can't prenouce but it was lovely. Food here isn't cheap but for some things in life you get what you pay for. On that... More

Have been fortunate enough to visit this great pub/restaurant/pizzeria/hotel which is at the heart of the community in this quintessentially British village. The whole team take great pride in what they do and are hard working, creative and caring. On only our second visit they remembered us, where we had sat previously and even our order from the first visit... More

Visited the restaurant recently with my wife and it was a enjoyable experience. The menu is interesting with some very good fusions of styles and tastes. Good selection of reasonable wines is available along with the normal bar selection. Service is good considering the type of place it is. Interestingly, we had a young, somewhat pretentious young guy sitting nearby... More

My friend had heard a good report about The Richmond Arms and on the strength of this we booked a table for three for lunch. It was cramped, noisy and the service was very slow indeed. The food was good although small portions. As a veggie/vegan there was very limited choice but what I got tasted OK, but I wouldn't... More

Service excellent, choice of food good, food very tasty. Had the fab quail and the brisket, which was a lot of meat, too much for me but probably not for everyone. Divided into formalish and relaxed eating, I will be going back to try the woodfore pizzas :-) !!!

Thank Weeb1
