We went on a Friday night as it was a "no RSVP night." We got there early (6pm) to get the best options on the menu (the menu is on a dry erase board and they eliminate items as they run out). We both had Lobster Bisque for an appetizer and Lobster Thermidor for dinner, we both loved it! Location... More

Nice setting and a busy, accommodating restaurant. It was very busy when I went so food took quite a while to arrive. Not impressed with my main course but the desert was lovely.

We went to this restaurant twice during our stay on the island. Both meals were at dinner and the setting is lovely. A large board with the dinner offerings is brought to the table to make a selection. My friend loved their chili dish the first visit and the grilled salmon on the second. I enjoyed a pasta dish with... More

I have eaten here 10 plus times, mainly because there are so few places to eat in Montserrat not because its fantastic, sorry but the truth. The setting is nice very old colonial and you sit on a outside veranda so cover up in bug repellent as sometimes the mozzys are wicked. There are lots of pictures of the Beatles... More

We went twice to Olveston House during our recent 11 day trip to Montserrat. Once for lunch, once for dinner. Very popular with local expats. Outdoor porch dining was nice if a bit hot; they could use some ceiling fans. Very British feel to the whole experience. Servers were lovely and attentive. Food was ok only but that was something... I came with a small group of friends and had the chowder and found it somewhat average. Its a nice setting, nice location and the staff are friendly but it's definitely rather pricey for what it is, especially the drinks. It's unlikely i'll eat there again as there are other places that I much prefer.

Every meal was great but we were fortunate enough to be there for one of her legendary "Elegent" dinners. A multi-course dinner that would rival any fine dining experience we've had and at a very reasonable price.

Found Olveston House on internet. My husband has spent time in Montserrat but hasn't been since the volcano blew. Used to stay at the vue point but it is not yet reopened (apparently it will be soon). Olveston house was a great find. Beautiful setting, great food, very relaxing, and Margaret and her whole team are wonderful. Highly recommend Jackie... More
