What a lovely place, friendly village pub, great atmosphere, bustling but not busy busy. Fabulous food, old pub classics like Wiltshire ham eggs and chips, steak and ale pie, fish and chips. And what chips, best I've ever had. our waitress told us that they hand peel and chip them on site. Would highly recommend

good traditional English pub with a decent menu. The food was good and came out quite quickly. The meal was also reasonably priced.

Today many UK pubs seek to be what they are not, they imitate and often fail in the quest to be both a public house and an Egon Ronay quality restaurant, especially when it comes to pricing. The beautiful Longs Arms at Steeple Ashton is most certainly no such establishment. It is the sort of place one would love to... More

Our party of 5 enjoyed a leisurely lunch in The Longs Arms and were delighted with the friendly atmosphere and excellent pub grub. Locals mixed with visitors and dogs were the centre of attention! Oh to live in this attractive village and have this pub as our local! Top marks.

We happened to be in the as camping and someone recommended this place for lucky, it was a hot day and as we were in a medium sized group with kids, the idea of the play park garden sounded good. We order cheesy garlic bread, pie, lasagnes, pizza kids meals and some beer. The pie was probably the best pie... More
