Fantastic food and service. Preordered for a large group takeaway. Well organised with all boxes labelled up. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. Batter was lovely and crisp on the cod. Service with a smile. Thank you.

Been here many times and never fails to impress us. Good varied menu, superbly prepared, cooked and served. Plenty on the menu to suit all but my husband says the best fish and chips for miles around.

We ate in and I had a Fantastic Gluten Free Fish & Chips. The batter on the fish was very light and crispy, and my husband, who can eat normal fish & chips said the gluten free batter was better! There were other options, on...More

I have had a couple of take aways before but this is the first time I got a "traditional" take away from Sea Tree i.e. cod in batter and chips...the meal was excellent and tartare sauce homemade and lovely. I will seriously consider this for...More

We didn’t stay in the restaurant to eat our meals but whilst waiting for our order to be cooked, we wished that we had dined in as the atmosphere was calm and friendly. Food was delicious and gluten free! Amazing! Very happy tummy’s thank you

Visited Sea Tree yesterday evening after being recommended by friends & didn't disappoint. Shared the Mussels in white white to start & were amazing as was both our mains that followed. Extremely friendly staff. Will definitely be going back.

Popped in on a Sunday night after coming back from London , was really surprised to find the shop open, but what a lovely meal, and atmosphere. Lovely fish and chips and scampi. Was happy with service and nice cup of tea!

Ate here as a party of five and we all were very impressed with the food. Not just fish and chips, but fish pie, tempura prawns and haloumi. All cooked beautifully, served well and a reasonable choice of drinks at fair prices. Well done!

As a family we had talked for years about opening a fish and chip shop, so in 2008 we decided to realise the ambition and open The Sea Tree. Fresh and chips Our "fresh and chips" mission is simple; to offer you fresh, healthy and sustainable fish cooked to order. The Sea Tree is an 'alternative fish bar,' offering traditional fresh fish and chips alongside alternative choices such as mackerel and calamari cooked the way you want; battered, grilled or pan-fried. We also have a wet fish counter where you can buy from our selection of fish or place an order for us to pick up from suppliers on the East Coast. Aside from our wider selection of fish we have tried to cater for those who might have been put off their local chippie before now. We will always have vegetarian options, gluten free batter and healthy alternatives to chips just for the calorie counters! Whether you are eating in our restaurant or taking away we hope you will enjoy the care and enthusiasm that we put into our food. We have a brilliant team at The Sea Tree and they are always happy to meet requests and ensure you have a great time. We hope to Sea you soon! The Farrell family and The Sea Tree team
