We happened upon this place while staying for 2 nights in San Terenzo a few days ago. We shared anchovies to start which were delicious. My husband had very fresh tuna and I had a wonderful sea bass to follow. We were also served a free snack in between which was very tasty. The food as first class and the service very friendly. A great experience.

The tuna is world class, combined with the local wine it became close to religious. The personel did a great job.👍

Great service - attentive-very friendly - nice little fried snacks (free) between courses. Fresh Tuna with salad (Main course) was wonderful (best we've ever had!). Sea bass also excellent. All in all - highly recommended.

We waited for 45 minutes after being seated. No way you can wait for that long anywhere to have dinner, the manners were not the best ones either, we would have spent over 80 € or more, we don't expect that service under such price! No thanks.

If you advertise "tourist menu" you don't inspire much confidence do you? But we were in a hurry and grabbed a salad which was disapointing... Judging from the other clients, not many, this is not a place for people who like to live like the locals. The "terrace" is on the small street as you can see. Which is not really comfortable as it is a steep street. Never again...

We found this place by accident - it was one of the few restaurants serving lunch at 14:00......and were very happy that we did. We ordered a salad and some excellent sea food for starters and a simple spaghetti with tomato sauce and one with pesto for the main course. Everything was fresh and very good.

Wow, what a find. Stumbled across this amazing place after struggling to park anywhere within a 5 mile radius due to Ferra Gosta! Make an effort to speak Italian, or just have a go, it's appreciated and we found out efforts were well rewarded with great (and very friendly) service. We ate from the menu choosing three antipasti, three mains, veg side dishes and a half litre of the house white. Local sea food is the speciality, and this little restaurant has an amazing chef who has obviously been professionally trained. The food was fantastic; the mixed starters were stunning and totally unexpected. Frito misto for the main was the best we've ever tasted, but the winner was the baked fish with capers, potatoes and tomatoes. Simply unbelievable. Three clean plates. Not cheap but well worth it.

This was the worst first night in Italy immaginable. The restaurant looked busy and likeable, but the service was dreadful. We ordered a simple insalata caprese to share for starters, but it was more than an hour in coming and was very mediocre. It took most of another hour for my grilled swordfish steak to come and when it did it was disgusting. It was on the bone, raw and gristly. It took some time to alert the waiter who then offered to re-cook it, at which point I decided to call it quits and leave. The waiter was contrite ( and very overworked) so at least didn't charge for the fish. My partners spaghetti al pomodoro was fine, but as it is a fish restaurant they should have been Ok with a simple grilled swordfish. After over 2.5 hours we finally got out - and went home to get a cheese sandwich - which was infinitely preferable. A dreadful experience not to be repeated.

Although this seemed to be a 'one man show' on the evening we visited ( the waiter appeared to be cooking) we had a very enjoyable meal. Slight confusion with ordering (we don't speak much Italian) but the meals we were brought were delicious, as was the wine (though initially this order was forgotten). Bit quiet on the Tues night that we visited, but it had been a rainy day and not many people seemed to have ventured out.

Great service, good food, great wine. Fresh products, nice waiters. They don't speak English, but almost nobody does in San Terenzo. They'll make sure they understand you anyway.

We had dinner here two different nights. the waitors did not speak english, but we communicated good, and the fish was very good. And the TiraMisu was so good that we actyally came back a week after to taste it and to try to get the recepie. And we had a delicious fishfilet and got the two last pieces of Tira MIsu. We got very good help and nice talking to a very helpfull guest, Roberto , and Lucia and Susy explained how to make this dessert. Thank you all three of you for a very nice evening.

The food was actually OK but the waiting time the whole evening was quite boring especially when our daughter was very hungry. The two ladies did not understand any English but they had an English menu card which was very good. The value for the food was quite OK compared to the other restaurants. The restaurant was in a very small street where outdoor seating was possible.

After two weeks in Tuscany with great food this meal was the worst, we got. The service was lousy. The first waiter didn’t speak English but continued talking Italian to us, even though he could see, we didn’t understand. The fish and the seafood, we ordered, was very poorly seasoned and our fries was not homemade and directly from the freezer. Our white wine was drinkable, but that’s the only good thing to say about this place.
