We went there in midcweek December. The town look empty. We we given the address of MPAKIS which is Baki s . The father who is the butcher took us to his butchery next door. We had half ribs of a goat and liver. The mum cooked it and the son served. Perfect lamb and goat barbecue we enjoyed.

We stopped here on recommendation from Emery Winery that this is a local restaurant that he often visits himself. We had a selection of starters, feta stuffed zucchini flowers were a dream! We shared tatziki and a mixed grill, it's the best mixed grill we have had here so far, includes sausage, pork, beef, chicken and lamb. All was grilled... More

We drove a detour based on the reviews here... However we were disappointed as they were 'just' serving standard Greek food of average quality, although nothing special. Also be prepared to share with bigger groups arriving with a tourbus.

Very nice staff and a big choice of vegetarian starters (unfortunately no warm vegetarian main course). We had taziki, tiroslata, saganaki cheese (warm), mixed salad and zucchini flowers filled with feta (warm). The food was really excellent and we paid only 22 € (including beer, Coca Cola and pita for two). In the end we got fresh fruits, a cake... More

One of the best greek restaurants we have ever eaten in and they bring you extra dishes before your starters and after your mains!!! Wine from the barrel excellent in this main wine producing area.

We ordered a starter each and main course (and some beer and red wine from the barrel). Ended up stuffed full on four courses! This is a big taverna but wasn't full when we were there. Great welcome from the waiting staff who I think were owners / family members. Very relaxed, and a big barbecue going outside for the... More

Great traditional Greek restaurant where the meat comes fresh from the butcher and where the waiter picks up the desert at the local bakery if it's not on the menu.

This place is a MUST in your visit to Rhodes!!! Food is delicious, cheap and service fantastic! We had the mixed grill (best one in a long time) The lamb chops are incredible!!! Everything was excellent!!! Compared to other restaurants in the island this really cheap and you even get free desserts (sort of pastry and fruit watermelon) delicious!!!
