Perfectly situated on the harbour. We only popped in for a beer but wanted to stay for hours. Unfortunately, the boat wouldn't wait. Loved the Woodburner. Beer was good a view superb. Can't give it five stars as we didn't have time to assess properly, I'm pretty sure it deserves it.

Next to the hotel Lofoten Suite this is a bar with a small but OK menu. Local fish including the Bacalao which means cod in Portugese. In Portugal they have more then 300 ways to prepare it. In Norway it is normally dryed cod, with potaoes in a tomatosauce with garlig and chili. Here it was rather spicy

Visited once during our stay and had the best fish and chips I have ever eaten. Very fresh fish (two different types) and excellent chips and garnish for a very reasonable price by Norwegian standards. My wife, a vegetarian, even had a reasonable culinary experience, which is extremely unusual in Norway, as they don't really seem to "get" vegetarianism.

Visited several times during our stay in Svolvær. Find a seat and order drinks & food at the bar (think one of the reviewers below has confused it with De Verden next door who use tablets). The first visit the restaurant was very busy but the waitress advised there would be a wait for our food order. As it happened,... More

We had a lunchtime visit at the end of a Lofoten Panorama tour. We had the Bacalao which was delicious with a beer. Staff very polite and attentive.

We loved this place on a recent visit to Solvaer. Great atmosphere and friendly service when ordering at the bar Good for hot chocolate and cake after an outdoor adventure, a few beers before a meal and excellent range of food too We had fish and chips which were excellent - but all the food being served looked good. This is a large modern restaurant on the harbour . Menus on tablets . We were shown the most expensive main course menu first but opted for a lesser quantity meal . The mussels and chips were delicious but the fish and chips excelled . Local fresh cod and fluffy light batter . An unexpected treat . Good friendly service.

We went here to grab a quick meal before we went out for the northern lights trip. My friend had the classic stockfish soup and it was tasty and filling. I had the shrimp pasta and it was mildly spicy. They weren't stingy with the shrimp and it came with two slices of brown bread so i couldn't finish the... More
