We have visited Jaca several times and our favourite has been la Tasca de Ana but for a change we had a look around and found this great place by accident. Really friendly staff, good food, and not expensive. Almost exclusively Spanish clientele.

We have visited this area 4 times this year and in July we discovered La Tasca de Ana, where we loved the tapas. However, when we went back in September it was no longer open at lunchtime, so we had to look around for somewhere else and after consulting TripAdvisor we dropped into Casa Fau. The first couple of times... More

Jaca does not shine by its abundance of fine restaurants. However, light dishes or taps offerings are aplenty. Among them Casa Fau shines because of its location, just right by the cathedral which in summer time means plenty of tables outside, and by its migas. A dish that is so Spanish but, because of its simplicity and humble origins is... More

This place took an eternity to produce food. Seems like we wasted an hour and a half waiting for it. By the time it came, it wasnt worth the wait - not bad but nothing special either. Impatient and unattentive staff. Go elsewhere

We were looking for a Tapas place to have dinner since we were not too hungry yet, but knew we would be getting hungry soon. We came across this restaurant after visiting the cathedral. We asked our server for her top 3 Tapas recommendations which were there migas, the salmon, as and mushrooms. All 3 were amazing! I couldn't state... More

They managed to squeeze in six of us on two occasions, but you should either book or time you arrival carefully. We let them choose our dishes, though we gave some general advice about likes and quantities. The result was a very tasty meal. (In one sea-food dish, what looks like thin spaghetti are baby eels. Even so, they tasted... More

We came here for dinner 2 days in a row. Excellent tapas. All of them typical local cuisine, with a touch of innovation. Migas were fantastic, but also all the rest. Very friendly advice from waiters.

A small bar that has always been crowded in the summer when we have visited, in the dark early December days offered a warm welcome, hearty tapas, jovial company and lots of local colour! Clearly a favourite with locals and tourists alike, service was swift, helpful and offered a local range of produce and chat. Most enjoyable.

A group went for dinner to this lovely, traditional tapas restaurant. The setting is authentic and not fancy, the tables were moved around to accommodate as many as possible. Locals were playing a table game in the corner, and the food was plentiful and delicious. We had a variety of tapas, wine and a lovely plate of desserts to finish.... More

Visiting Jaca for our second time we decided on a visit to this recommended restaurant. I have to say that the steaks and prawns were excellent but the service was tardy and inattentive and the waiting staff not particularly friendly or welcoming.
