Visited on many occasions, one of my favourites in Plauen. There are always free tables, good beer and tasty dinner.

A typical beer keller restaurant in an old trading house, which many famous guests have visited, including Chancellor Merkel. The food was very good and good sized portions. The service was also friendly and efficient. The place was very busy and had several rooms to...eat in, for hotel guests and visitors. Definitely worth a visit.More

We loved the decor, the friendly staff, the music, the food and the location! Very clean bathrooms and comfy beds. Perfect location to stroll and test other restaurants and enjoy the beautiful old center of Plauen.

True Vogtland cooking that reminded me of my childhood. The history of the building was fascinating but did not detract from the excellent food - typically German, but not overly heavy. I will be going back!

The part of the restaurant I ate had a very beatiful arched ceiling. The menu had a varied choice. Was hard to choose from. When the food arrived it turned ouyt to be in massive volumes. For example a Schnitsel the size of an A4....Pity that the group I ate with was being served in shifts. Half of the guest were almost ready when the other half had yet to be served.More

If you like the local Vogtland food, this place is for you. Service is good for German standards and quality of the food is always good. Make sure you have reservations.
