Delicious lunch in lovely setting, historical surroundings. Staff was warm and welcoming. Great place for lunch during weekdays. Visit also the museums of the Fortress before or after the lunch.

Excellent salad buffet with a soup, salmon or beef as a main course, dessert and coffee or tea included. 12 euros for the soup option and 15 for meat or fish option was good value particularly given the high quality and freshness of the food....The lunch buffet is available from 11am through 2pm, also on Saturdays. The building is beautiful, located in the historically valuable old fortress area. Our international group of three enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly service and ordered some wine to celebrate Christmas. Highly recommended!More

Kehruuhuone is located in the beautiful and historical fortress area. Service is always excellent. The buffet lunch is amazing - there is soup, abundant salad bar, main course (2 options to choose) is served to the table and a delicious small dessert with coffee or...tea. The best Lohipirakka (lax pie) in the area, excellent filter coffee (Paulig tumma paahto grade). Other meals and desserts served are of a similar quality and taste standard and may vary seasonally. Cosy natural atmosphere, excellent retret in the middle of the Old Town Lappeenranta.

I was here for a congress dinner and was immensely impressed. We had roast moose and baked salmon, and both were amazing. Good wine selection as well. The location is right in the old fortress. Quite amazing!
