The restaurant two sides, one for cavallery and second one for artillery. The terrace has a nice view on the lake.

This restaurant is in historical, fantastic environment by the lakeside with matching interior. Most importantly also food was great and so was the service! The menu is funny, not too long and offers good local options. Going there through the old military barracks area is...already alone worth the walk just to see what urban development can do at its best. Anyway go there for the food !More

We visited here twice during our visit to Lappeenranta for lunch. It is so amazing, the outside setting has this feel to it which is hard to describe but it is almost as though it wants to tell you a story,inside is amazing, its like...stepping back in time or straight on to a movie set from history, just amazing. This restaurant has an interesting menu - it serves favorite foods of former Finnish presidents and their wives. I have visited the place twice and in both times both the service and the food were good. This former officers' club has a nice interior and...it is run by the Lappeenranta Officers Club. Open for everyone. During the summer time they have great views to lake Saimaa. Try Saimaa fish plate as a starter. Lam and reindeer were good too.More
