Food was reasonable but service was quite poor. Everything was going well until my pilau rice came out with added protein (a dead fly in it). I actually was not that bothered about it (these things happen from time to time) but instead of asking whether they could offer a discount off the bill perhaps instead they rushed back to... More

We went for a pub lunch in their pub next door. The food was freshly cooked and served from next door main restaurant. It was delicious and value for money

First of all I would like to thank sultan for an amazing and entertaining night. Where do I start. •Food •service •ambience Was all perfect. I would personally like to say a big thank to the sultan staff (Mushi) for giving the night we weren't expecting. We will definitely recommend sultan for a meal out and, will definitely come back.... Ate here last night and it was nasty....... my crab cake starter didn't taste of anything and my chicken main was awful the sauce was so watery it separated on my plate. Had been going here for a while but this is the second bad meal. Will not be returning

Had excellent food in past, so had high hopes. Sadly feel let down. Whilst starters, peshwari naan and lamb shank curry were good, the chicken korma was poor and the tikka masala and rugwara dishes were not as expected, the latter being spicy when not marked as such on the menu. When we queried this, the staff did not apologise... More

Visited on a Wednesday evening with friends. Firstly place was empty which is not a good sign. The food is OK but not as good as other Indian restaurants in Wokingham. The one issue that we had is one friend doesn't like spicey food so ordered a tandoori chicken and explained she wanted it mild which it certainly wasn't. When... More

£5 for a tiny chicken starter that tasted bland then £12 for lamb that was slimey, seriously lacking in quantity and half of it tasted like beef to me. Even the naan was hard. Avoid.

Been a customer for more than 10 years and can safely say the food is the best Indian you can get in Wokingham. Classic ambience for an Indian restaurant with more emphasis on food. Some restaurants focus more on presentation and decor but fall short when it comes to actual food quality. Very pleasant staff and friendly non-pretentious atmosphere. Sunday... More

I visited this restaurant with my friend one evening. It was our first time in this little town. The food was great and very helpful and friendly staff. It's recommended.
