I'm a big fan of Indian food and whilst it wouldn't necessarily be my first choice for Christmas Day, was interested to see what Ba'Bursi served up. Unfortunately, it felt like a menu designed to maximise profit above anything else. A sad caricature of Indian...food, a con that lacked flavour and flair. There was no complex layering of spices and flavours. Everything was one-dimensional. The Chicken Tikka Masala, I would bet money was the same base as the korma, but with some bright red food colouring added. It was stupidly sweet, no tang or subtlety of flavour. The ghurkali was simply sweet/sour but in an artificial cheap way. The pulao rice had fluorescent grains in it. The paneer in plum starter was a train wreck. The coffees were packet mixes, which is inexcusable. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and attentive, the setting has a lot of potential and the naan breads were good.More

Thanks for your review we appreciate all feedback. It’s mad when we ask customers if everything’s ok we hardly get on the table response! But then something like this appears so often, on the whole I think the team do a cracking job and there’s...More

Excellent service staff extremely friendly polite and helpful. Food was fresh cooked to perfection and very flavoursome. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Best Indian restaurant I have ever been to.

Having eaten in the restaurant earlier this year, which was lovely, we decided to have a take away instead and have to say it wasn’t the best. Food was mediocre at best, overcooked meat, just didn’t really taste as it should. It was more expensive...than general takeaways. I will definitely not use their takeaway service again and will stick with my usual go to. Very disappointed.More
