Have visited quite a few times over the last 12 months and can honestly say the food is excellent and surroundings are very pleasant, but without exception the service provided is extremely poor and badly lets the restaurant down. Visited today for a birthday celebration...More

Food was lovely. I was a little reluctant to go as this was our second attempt...we arrived one Sunday to be told that the kitchen was out of order and that they'd tried to ring us (which they hadn't). However, on this occasion the service...More

My family and I went for Sunday lunch and was bitterly disappointed. The food is exceptionally over priced for the quality served. It cost £35 for a crusty tasteless dry child size portion of lasagne, bbq chicken burger that was burnt and rock hard, onion...More

Went here for the first time today, the food was delicious really impressed by how tasty it was! The pub area itself was really noisy, had groups of older men doing shots and singing songs, not necessarily the atmosphere for a couples date night. The...More

I note your comments with some concern. I was present at the time and a perfectly clear explanation was given to you. You were booked in on the hour (but chose to arrive early) and offered your table three minutes past the hour - hardly a crime. Indeed, the only miscreant in this exchange was you. Your attitude was typical of the youth of today. You should be ashamed of yourself. I suggest that you revisit the Wildmoor Oak and apologise to the restaurant manager who has worked there tirelessly for several years. Alternatively, stay at the Swan and eat with their clientele.

Description
It's a lovely country pub that serves English, European & Caribbean food which is a unique combination in its locality. They even do monthly Caribbean themed nights.
