Located at The Medicine Garden this rural café is a lovely place for a change from the High Street. Coffee is good. Nice selection of yummy pastries that look and taste homemade. Has a more extensive food selection too (and a wine list) but we did not try this.

Love the hot house for lunch, situated in the medicine garden just outside Cobham, its a fabulous place to have lunch. Homemade, fresh, local ingredients its really yummy. Specials of the day, and always a quiche/tart too with salads and nice bottles of wine too. Could maybe do with upping the variety a bit now, some other hot dishes, maybe... More

Went for afternoon tea as a large group as a birthday surprise and was unimpressed. Tea pots weren't topped up, seems as though they ran out of cake so lack of variety and very over priced. Won't visit again!

Met family here and it was a good place to chat, but I felt the food and drink was a bit pricey based upon the quantity and quality. Drinks took a long time to arrive.

My husband and I came here for a late breakfast one Sunday morning and we were so glad we'd booked. It got busy really quick. And I can understand why. The service was good and the food yummy! Will be back!!

What a simple yet difficult thing it is to find a good breakfast. Sometimes the coffee is substandard, the bacon over or underdone, the sausages tasteless, the toast cold or the service poor. It may be a relatively simple start-of-the-day equation but more often than not it disappoints. The hothouse cafe gets it just right. It delights in its location,... More

At the back of The Medicine Garden so very popular and busy...but great food and does serve wine..Used to be quite reasonable but prices have risen lately as it's become more liked I suppose...always pleasant and so many nice shops and art shops to see and gifts to buy so it can be a nice afternoon out...!!!

Lovely location, great for all ages. The Hothouse Cafe is an idilic location, beautiful walled garden and cosy warm place to lunch. The children's menu was really good, our daughter loved the food and the choice. The adult menu looks equally as impressive, although the food isn't served hot enough. The panini and tart were cool and should have been... More

The cafe occupies an old Victorian hothouse in the middle of a courtyard of artisan small shops and which is a lovely place to visit. It is however, acoustically, extremely noisy - so noisy in fact that we moved to an area where we could just about hear each other. The noise bounces off the wooden table tops, ricochets off... Enjoyed the bonus sun in Autumn to sit outside and enjoy a quiet lunch. Had a very fresh salad and good coffee , service efficient and friendly. It's possibly a bit on the expensive side and the menu is small but I guess by keeping it simple they keep it so fresh .
