Traditional Norwegian food at an affordable price. Not very cosy place, but the food itself weighs up for that.

This is the place to visit if you are hungry and want a meal the Norwegian style to the right price. No fancy names or unreadable menues. Just solid welltasting "ordinary local" food - fresh from kitchen in generous portions. Winelist ? No way ! Friendly people ? Absolutely !

If you are looking for no fuss, traditional norwegian food, this is one of the best restaurants in the area. The venue itself is not much, but I understand they have upgraded a bit since my last visit. This place is all about the food, and if you are hungry, be sure to tell the staff, they'll load your plate... More

It is a good place to taste homemade food typical Norwegian, far from the junk food that sold you everywhere in Norway. I dont remember the name of the food I tasted (strange norwegian name) but it was very nice. Forget hot dogs and pizzas and go to this place!

But other than that, this place is not worth a visit. Very dark and old restaurant, with under average on selection, service and atmosphere. Although I would easily choose this place on Thursdays when they serve Komle.

If you need an acceptable dish for your family a Sunday when you have not planned for any wisitors to come, then go for this restaurant! Traditional Norwegian food, pig steak, ox steak, meat balls, smoked cod. Just go for it! Good value for money!

This is a typical restaurant in Norway, a casual walk-up and order cafeteria-style establishment. (I would say 99% of the restaurants in Norway are like this--the only places in Norway you are likely to get a sit-down waiter-served meal might be in a fancy hotel or other very up-scale establishment--at considerably higher prices, I might add.) That being said, Lura... More

They are famous for the good traditional Norwegian food, and in addition the prices are good. The locations are not the most central but its easy reachable and worth a visit.

Quirky self service restaurant with a look of the 1970s. Nice friendly service . very generous portions. Good choice of traditional Norwegian food cooked on the premises .. Wide spectrum of clientele so interesting people watching. Clean and convenient toilet facilities and parking right in front of building. A must if you are hungry and don't want to spend a... More
