I have been here many times. I cannot describe how good the food is. Even better than at a 3-star Michelin restaurant. Consistently world class, well even better than ordinary world class. This restaurant is in a league of its own. If it was located in a big city, tables would be sold out for months in advance.
Opens on demand, offers excellent service and food. The premises are intimate with a beautiful view overlooking the sea and very often passing and anchored boats. Have had both 5 and 7 courses with appropriate wines. The staff gives explanation to the origin and components of the food and wines. Have had the opportunity to sit at the chefs table... More

Compared to the several Michelin restaurants I've been to (in Rome, London), this really is much better food. Without a doubt the best restaurant in... More

In my experience, even most Michelin restaurants are worse than Brovingen, a few are at the same level at the best. The only marginal downside is that the dessert is often a couple of levels worse than world class.... More
