Anything between a museum and good traditional Danish style restaurant. A place very much worth seeing!

Sit in the park and enjoy your meal while the canos sail by on the lake. My family try to eat here at least ones a year. Our favorit is the Pramdragergryde which comes with the best oven baked potatos. You will have all you can eat. Tip- Fresh strawberries are sold just around the corner from this place

We stayed at Svostrup Kro for one night during the summer, and was very delighted. Surroundings were beautiful as were the buildings. Food above average, rooms small but cosy, and the service great. The price was a bit on the high side - but most disappointing was that we had to pay 600 kroner to bring to very tiny dogs... More

In a World of same-same, where restaurants are almost like copy machines, this place is totally authentic. It is full of old antiquities which are original to the place, not just some junk which was bought to make into a theme, but the original thing. Food; we had a Christmas lunch and it also was wonderful, all home made and... More

Fantastic atmosphere. The interior is worth the visit an do book a room. Really I want to tell people not to come here so I can have the place to myself. Haha! No seriously I am never quite satisfied with anything in life. But this place really comes close. Remember only to bring shampoo and such if you stay over.... More

I've visited Svostrup Kro several times for dinners, for birthday parties, weddings and week-end stay, and every time it has been a nice experience. This time I was there for lunch with children and grandchildren- all adults, and everybody enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere and all had to have a look in the wine cellar again! Also some of...
