We had lunch in this lovely little restaurant and throughly enjoyed ourselves. We had the set menu and we were all pleased with the food.....it was excellent! There was a lovely atmosphere and the waiter was really nice and friendly. Would definitely return and recommend anyone to visit.

We were stuck for somewhere to eat in Foix most places were shut; but stumbled across this one and we were the second people in; then withing 30 mins the place was packed. We had an excellent meal 3 courses each, plus cheese all regional foods and a carafe of wine(1ltr) and the bull was less than 70Euro portions were... More

Overall I enjoyed my meal here. Some of our group had meals that were not as good. The anchovy and lettuce salad and the fresh pasta were excellent. The mushroom tagliatelli and the grilled squid pasta were delicious. The Spaghetti alla Calabrese was bland, and the confit de canard (duck) was very dry. Wine and atmosphere was great. To sum... This restaurant was so busy that the first time we had to eat inside, a week later we knew to make a reservation to get a table outside. The best pizzas we had all summer, excellent home made pasta (with roquefort) and both large and small salads. You couldn't do better on a warm night in Foix.

I eat here often as I have a holiday home across the street. The waiting staff are very friendly (especially Phillippe), the food is tasty, large portions and attractively served. They sell takeaway pizza too. They are always busy ( sure sign of a good restaurant) and it is best to reserve a table on friday & Saturday evenings. I... More

OK, it's really just a steak and chips place (or lamb and chips, or veal and chips...well you get my drift) but the meat was wonderful, the chips are cooked in duck fat (or similar) and we had a great meal. There are also pizzas and some pasta on the menu which we can't vouch for being total carnivores.

The restaurant is situated in a narrow street with other restaurants nearby. In summer tables are also arranged outside. The food is excellent and the service friendly. The restaurant is always busy so it is best to book in advance.

Waiter was working extrememly hard, there was a full complement of customers and only he and one other on staff. Unfortunately the food, although good enough was bland in taste. Needed some spice and variety.

During a 2 week stay in Ariege we visited this restaurant a couple of times. The menu was very family friendly with plenty of pizza and pasta options. Our first visit got excellent food with cheerful service, the second visit was much less successful: the carbonara was so stodgy the kids didnt really want to eat it and my wife's... More
