Love to frequent this burger joint during and after the winter months, there's a nice and big fire place to cozy up to and there's a sitting area around the corner as well not to mention the bottleshop across the road. My preference here would...More

I always love dropping in here when in the area - the expanded eating area means you no longer have to mill around the fire if you don't want to. Great facilities in a laid back atmosphere. Meal sizes are very generous and the pea...More

Went here to get a burger. As it's so busy there is usually a long wait. Would go back but would phone ahead next time. Good food for good pride

My man took me to Alfred's as the place to enjoy pea soup with history and I am so glad that he did. I also had an amazing burger and we will be going back!!!

This place is always crowded. From the moment it opens until really late. For a long time they didn't even have a seating area or tables. People just gathered around a fire that they light each day and have their meals on the bench or...More
