After visiting this restaurant several times with great pleasure, I thought it deserved a good review here. The food is diverse and very well prepared. Wines are very good and if you ask, good advice will be given. I always look forward to eat here!

I organised a corporate event there, didn't try much the food but was told food was good, I tried different beer and wines, they were very good; tried a dessert as well was good and presentation was amazing. They have a wine cellar downstairs, they do offer good range of wines. Staff worked very hard to cater guests' needs. August... More

Not impressed at all. Usually my experiences are pretty on point with Trip Advisor but not here. Sat on the patio. The gentleman serving us or helping or server, was condescending and unfriendly. The food was ok at best... The Gnocchi was really good. The rest was meh. The bathroom was filthy and full of nasty flies! Literally the walls... More

Most excellent visit. Good was great. I typically don't order pasta but figured I would give it a try. It was cooked to perfection. I would certainly eat here again. Three cheers for Pano e Vino.

Went there recently for a business diner. It was very good. We ate many different things coming from the farm of the chef in Naples Italy. Very good place! Ask to visit the wine cellar!

I celebrated my 25th birthday with a trip to Liège. I made a reservation at Pane e Vino in advance because, after reading some of the reviews on tripadvisor, it seemed like one of the best restaurants in Liége. From the outside I would never have thought that it would be a really great restaurant. The decor is ordinary but... More

My family and I had the honor of having an outstanding dinner at Pane e Vino. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, the experience was incredible. The Chef and owner, Mario, greeted us as if we were part of his family. I have never felt more at home so quickly in a restaurant. The food was... More

Fantastic food and service, accompanied by an excellent selection of wine. I would recommend leaving all choices to the chef (and owner), he really know his food and how to match with a great wine. Let him show off a bit!

A very warm welcome in cosy Liège. Loved the open kitchen, and after sitting down and following the chef's recommendations, it was pleasure on the taste buds all afternoon. Started off with about 9 different antipasti, followed by great pasta italian style (i.e. full of flavour, simple in ingredients), nice main with crunchy fresh vegetables, 4 different deserts on 1... It is now some time that I have know this restaurant, a stone's throw from the newly renovated Opera House. Previously it always seemed busy but without being crowded, the food being varied, well cooked and to my taste. A month ago, I went there with a group of 16 people and it had already another Group installed and all... More

A true taste of Italy. Pane e Vino offers gastronomic delights in elegant surroundings in central Liege. Experienced chef and owner Mario Ladanza opened the restaurant in 2009 with the idea of bringing fresh Italian produce direct to customers. He prides himself on using fresh, seasonal products and in line with this, the menu changes weekly. All of the products arrive from his farm in Naples. The restaurant serves delicious Italian food with a choice of multi-course menus (€35 to €65), or an à la carte menu. A daily lunch menu with a starter, main dish and coffee is offered for €25. Pane e Vino has the largest wine cellar in Liege, with 10,000 bottles of Italian wine. Each month it hosts a themed evening pertaining to a particular Italian region, with a special menu comprised of local foods and their accompanying wines. If you find choosing a dish challenging, or simply prefer to be surprised, then the Faccio Io formula is for you. Simply let the chef know of any ingredients you don't like, and Iadanza will choose a selection of shared starters, antipasti and a main dish. Dessert is also included. Faccio-Io costs €45 per person. Maître d'hôtel Karim Hayoun notes that Pane e Vino differs to other Italian restaurants in that it "offers four different menus a week, and fresh food direct from Italy. We aim to be both authentic and innovative in our food." Throughout the year it also serves specialities like lobster, foie gras and truffle.
