A pub that serves real food, nothing fancy or made to look more than it is. My Spaghetti Bolognaise was served with an adequate amount of sauce with plenty of meat unlike some restaurants where it is a job to find enough with which to...More

Good solid no nonsense family pub grub here. Wide and varied menu (difficulty choosing), prompt and efficient service, empty plates all round, generous portions, very reasonable prices, pleasant surroundings - what's not to like. Classic kids menu but just what we wanted. Spot on! 2...More

Liked this place because could have a meal in a pub without having chips. I had risotto and it was lovely.

Tried this out after hearing a radio ad. What a great find. Good no nonsense pub grub and in fairness a very extensive menu at very reasonable prices. Nice location, friendly staff and good beer, what's not to like!

Called in for a sandwich and we were tempted by the Herefordshire Sausages, Chips and Peas and the Steak and Ale Pie, Chips and Peas.... very good! First rate friendly service, great value, relaxing gardens, a couple of pints all for £19.

Lovely lunch today. Twelve of us and all were served freshly cooked meals within moments of each other with a smile. Very good value. Some of us even managed a pudding. Thanks Heather, Barry and staff.

Yes the pub has been sold so will be under new management. But not had the chance to go and try out new menu etc yet. It is a great shame as the original menu of 46810 was really good.
