Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stopped here for a snack before going to the airport. The interior is so charming and they have a nice patio if the weather allows. The pastry and cappuccino hit the spot!

Excellent place for coffee and food. Leknes is not exactly a foodies paradise and if you are a discriminating eater you are SOL. Sans Og Samling is a family run place with a limited menu but what they serve is good. Strongly suggest to try...out the soups. The Loftens is not a cheap place to eat but this place will help you stay in your budget.More

Feeling peckish? Not sure if you would like a savoury snack or something sweet? Look no further. This place has it all: Soup of the day, salmon, veggie wraps - all local and home made. Try their carrot cake or delicious cinnamon bun. Full range...of coffees served. The decor is Norwegian flea marker informal. No two chairs identical. The local library is next door. They ovcasionally clear out their shelves and if you are lucky you may pick up yesterday’s bestselling crime novels for a nominal sum.More

I ate and drank several times during my stay in Leknes. The decor and the food are good, but the staff were generally unfriendly lacking in basic customer service skills. Their prices even for Norway, are too high and the coffee cups, too small! There...are better places in Leknes.More

By far the best place to grab food and coffee in Leknes! The atmosphere is super cozy and relaxing. The team here could not be more kind and welcoming. Try the soup — you will be glad you did. If you need a place to...work or study for a few hours, the WiFi is fast too.More

Visited after walking from the cruise ship to the town about 3.5kms. Was served quickly by a very efficient and attentive waitress/Manager. Lovely latte coffee, good strength and flavour. Water available as well. Although we didn’t have it the cakes looked delicious and you serve...yourself ! Very dangerous !! Well worth the stop and great service - she was on her own at front of house and did a great job.More

We went to this cute Cafe during our stay in Ballstad. The chocolate cake was amazing and we loved the cozy atmosphere. There are glutenfree products available as well. Highly recommended!

This was such a great find. An open but also cosy space that had a great atmosphere. It was full of what seemed like locals by 12.30PM (they opened that day at 12 noon). The soup was lovely and refills were free! Although the desserts...weren't perfect (not the most exciting cinnamon bun we've had in Scandinavia), they were still quite nice and had come fresh out of the oven before our eyes. The board games made available were a nice touch. Definitely recommend, especially if you come across bad weather and are trying to work out how to spend it in Lofoten.More

More than just a cafe SOS is integrated into a library / town hall / culture centre - so both times was reasonably busy without being too crowded. Informal and artsy in decor it seems to attract a mixed though often youthful crowd. The staff...were very helpful with an English menu coming out of a drawer - evening 1 we had their summer salad - a welcome relief from the normal omnipresent fish cakes and fish soup. Evening 2 - yes we had the fish cakes and chicken wrap. This venue seemed spot on as an end of the day informal bolt hole for coffee cake dinner and ice cream. It is modest in its menu but good quality and generous portions - and relatively cheap - which in Leknes / Lofoten is a good find.More

Cute bohemian style coffee shop. Lots of couches and tables. Games and books. Staff is very friendly and food is homemade and fresh. Awesome spot to hang out and figure out day plans for Lofoten Islands.

Stopped in after a day of rainy photography. Very laid back cafe. You help yourself to anything in the fridge and on the counter then pay as you leave. Tips You can order wraps and toasted sandwiches from the counter. Have photographed the menu below....Soup changes daily and cakes are help yourself - pay when you go. The chicken wrap was massive - not what I expected. Fresh fresh ingredients that practically covered a dinner plate. Very tasty. Cinnamon scrolls also impressive. Went back a second day and had chicken soup with crusty bread and chocolate cake for dessert. It was to die for. Definitely worth a visit.More
