Visited for lunch. Buffet lunch at 10-15.00 costs 10.80 e including nice (non-alcoholic) drinks, homemade bread, dessert and coffee in a great old house by a lake. Maybe the most tasteful veggie meals I've had. I am not a veggie fan myself but I like...to eat here, although I tend to eat too much in this place. They also sell herb products and the herbal infusion they offer at lunch was especially good too. A very popular place during lunchtime. Located right by the road 3.More

This is a fabulous cafe - the food is great and made fresh every day, offered mainly as a buffet but there are other options. Vegetarian, filling, delicious. Great atmosphere, lots of crafts and organic products, gifts. Very friendly staff. In summer it would be...wonderful to sit outside next to the water. Loved my many visits there while in Finland.More

This saterday we visited the frantsila shop. It is a cosy shop with a lot of Lovely details. Nice things to buy like all kinds of herbal soap, handmade mittens and socks, sweets and chocolate and a lot more to discover. Besides these nice things ,...you can have a nice lunch (or just coffee and all kinds of cakes) . We had a lunch including a salad and soup. We agreed it was the best soup we ever tasted!so for sure this is a place highly recommended to visit. And we love to come again some time.More

We went there during cyckling for cafe and some food. I took a slice of veggie pizza and really liked it. Actually this was a routine visit. Frantsila has nice facilities with many kind of activities regarding vegetarian food and different herbs etc.

We visited this place on Saturday for lunch. Quite many people were on the move. They have a buffet which has only vegetarian meals. The selection was wide: green salad, tomatoes, mushroom salad, potato salad, buckwheat pasta, roasted vegetables and for dessert redcurrant pie with...vanilla sauce and coffee/tea. When possible, everything came from own or neighboring farms. It was so delicious. We thought we should come here more often although it is a 30-min drive from where we are living. Definitely next summer with a Vespa because the countryside is so beautiful to explore. Frantsilan kehäkukka is sitting by a river which looks amazing. There is a herb garden outside with information what is what, what it can be used for and what are their healing powers. The restaurant is a typical oldtime Finnish house decorated accordingly; oldtime wallpapers, furniture, mats, etc.More

Visited Frantsila for a fresh vegetarian lunch buffet. Definitely one of the best stopovers around Tampere area. Also a shop where organic cosmetics and food available.

Heading to Hämeenkyrö? Stop and visit Frantsila; small shops, second hand, restaurant and Purimo ship at the same journey. The Place gives an idea of Finnish countryside and how the plants and herbs can be used for your health and wll-being. Restaurant is cosy and...open even during the winter. If you are not friend of vegetarian food, taste it here and you can surprise. Buffet is the best to start with.More
