Looking for lunch heading south of Warwick we thought we'd see what was in Barford. Found ourselves in the Granville which looked to have had a modern makeover and had an interesting menu. Had a bit of a wait for our food but not an excessively long wait. My wife had the homemade soup which came with fresh rolls and... More

Very slow and inattentive service. Food ok but nothing special. My sausage dish was too sweet and dry. Left after waiting so long for dessert. The management didn't seem to be bothered about serving the customers. Weren't where needed to be. Won't be going back.

We visited the Granville for Sunday lunch. The food we had was good, but unfortunately the service was extremely slow and we waited almost two hours to receive starters and main courses (we gave up before ordering dessert). The decor is nice, but the atmosphere is a bit flat and, while the staff are very friendly, we had several misunderstandings... More

Visited this pub for lunch with our two children, and we won't be returning! The food was excellent as was the service, but unfortunately they clearly aren't interested in families! There was no children's menu, and to be honest, I don't have an issue with this. However, I do have an issue when they charge you full price for a... More

My wife and I visited for a Saturday lunch. I had Haddock fillet with home-cut chips and my wife had a pasta dish from the Specials menu. For desserts, I had affogato and my wife had Bakewell Tart. Th food was delicious, the staff were attentive and friendly with swift service, though to be fair, we did arrive quite early... More

We stopped for a light lunch en route South,we had looked on line for eateries off the M 40 and this was the most convenient. It was a delightful surprise, the decor was modern light fresh and very comfortable, the toilets spotlessly clean as was all of the interior. The food we had was delicious,my homemade soup rich and creamy,my husbands baguette with chips... We visited here recently, the pub was warm and welcoming, friendly staff where nothing was too much trouble for them. The pub has gone through a recent refurb which looks fantastic. We ordered Sunday roasts and they were the best we've had in the area! I had the stuffed belly of pork and it was beautiful. We've already booked for... More

Was taken to the Granville for my birthday, the whole family were there young and old. We were booked in to the pub up the road Joseph Arch but to our dismay they never had disabled access just steps up the front. The whole of the pub was very accessible which is a must for my parents who are not... More

Went there between Christmas and new year for a family lunch. The menu sounded good with lots of choices. Instead of being welcomed when we walked in we got stared at as we went through to a table in the restaurant through to the back. We waited a while as it was a bit busy and then eventually ordered with... More

I visited The Granville on a wet and windy December evening. Walking in I was welcomed by a nice log fire. Decent range of beer too to cheer me up. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I ordered one of the goats cheese pizzas. It did not take long to arrive, as there were only a couple of people eating.... More
