Over priced poor food. Shame, as it used to be busy with great food and atmosphere. The pricing wouldn't be too bad if the food wasn't budget quality. Not somewhere I'd eat again.

Visited on Saturday early teatime. Staff very friendly and helpful. Menu on board in the bar area. Prices reasonable for food, drinks very well priced. Food arrived on hot plates and was very tasty. Will visit again.

First time eating here in a long time but not the last. Meals were excellent, very tasty and nicely presented on warm plates. Enjoyed the evening and will definitely be back.

The beer garden has an activity play area for kids to climb over and enjoy. The bar is well decorated and inviting for all weary travellers in need of sustenance.

It appears the pub is currently closed and has been for some weeks. I believe it is hoped to find a new landlord but no idea if or when that might happen.

The area comes under Halton Borough Council so if you contact them they should be able to help.
