The restaraunt is in the Best Western Hotel on the 2nd floor, giving a great view of the harbor. There are several interesting displays to check out also. We went on beer and burger night, so I can't comment much on any other menu items. The beer was great and the burger good, so no complaints.Server was friendly and efficient... More

Staying at Best Western Hotel makes this restaurant a no brainer. On second floor which makes the view of Kodiak and St Paul Boat Harbor quite awesome. They even provide binoculars at the bar window tables. Great selection of Alaska microbrews. Diverse choice of Alaskan seafood, the scallops were done to perfection. Beef, chicken, and pork also on the menu,... More

The good...great service. The not so good...the food. Food is average at best. Fish & chips..greasy, more batter than fish, and the cod was tasteless. Chicken was a bit better but not worth giving the restaurant a second try.

Sit in the bar for the best views out to sea; binoculars are provided for whale/seal spotting. Great food (especially the black cod starter) and excellent service - thanks Christina - without spending a fortune, which is unusual for Alaska.

We went over after our 2 at the brewery and shared the King Crab and a steak. The crab was very good. The steak was nothing to write home about but cooked right and was nice to have with crab legs the size of a toddler's arm. Music in the bar was really cool. Anytime the music is live it's... More

The food is basic with a few minor twists - not fancy - plain and simple. The bar is fun and friendly with live music on Friday and Saturday nights and believe it or not, the music is quite enjoyable. Generous pours at the bar and nice bartenders and wait staff. Cool water view from the windows. Wednesday Burger Night... More

Mostly "pub" kind of food with a few local dishes. Waitress very nice. OK view of the area. Nothing particularly special but fine.

fairly average " American food"... I wished for more local and innovative options but it was fine for dinner. OK view of local harbor

I wish I could give a good review, but the only positive thing to say about this restaurant is that at least the food didn't make us sick.. We spent 12 days in Alaska, and this was the only bad meal we had. The fish was dry and overcooked. It took almost an hour from the time we sat down... More
