I really really want to love this little country pub, it reminds me of all the great little country pubs in you can find the country side but it has a little flaw; the lack of skill in the kitchen. I've passed through the pub...More

The pub is a rustic old coaching inn which has stood the test of time. It has been refurbished relatively recently with some modern booths and smart decor but still has original stone walls, wooded beams and roaring log fire. We visited here on Christmas...More

The King's Arms has banners advertising its 'Chippy' with either 'sit in' or 'take away'. I opted for the well priced 'meal deal' and made myself comfortable in the restaurant area with its views of the village and well within earshot of the noisy bar...More

My mum and I came across the Kings Arms on the way to the Fenwick Hotel as seen from the motorway. We decided to give it a try and we weren't disappointed at all. The decor is very modern in lovely surroundings. We were made...More

Been promising ourselves a visit here for a long time, glad we made it. We were made to feel welcome the moment we arrived. Service was excellent and the food superb. Will definitely be back.

Have been dining here for years, always pleasantly surprised by the "pub food". Used to have nice selection of food on menu and tasted good. The decor used to be dated and the eating area has been modernised however the food has gone downhill. Ordered...More

We had lunch here and ordered a burger and a 2 course meal from the set menu. The starter of cheesy nachos arrived with cheese sauce on it (which was made with cream and was rich and sickly). I'm assuming that they didn't have the...More

Met my Nephew for dinner Friday evening. been a long time since had a meal here. Seems to have changed hands and although the food is all right it is now a so called Chippy establishment. I had the chicken and Haggis pie which was...More

The King's Arms Hotel dates from the eighteenth century and was a busy staging post on the route south from Glasgow - offering extensive stabling and refreshment to travellers on their long journey to Ayr and beyond.Fenwick, separated from the parish of Kilmarnock in 1642, was renowned for the fertility of its soil and the quality of its cheese and veal.At the Venetian style windows on the left of the hotel, brides on their wedding day would cut their wedding cake and throw favours to the assembled crowd in the street below. The Kings Arms is a Traditional Scottish Pub. A warm welcome and friendly service, fine beers & wines and home made traditional food. Children welcome
