This was a very comfortable and modern B&B. Great breakfast... even the black pudding was delicious! Thanks to Frank and his wife. Location is also a short little walk from all pubs and shops, with barnyard animals to view as you go!

We stayed here for three nights in September 2018. Frank and Maryellen are wonderful. They make you so welcome in their beautiful home. The porridge is the best in Ireland and evenings relaxing by a turf fire were delightful. An easy walk to Doolin village...to enjoy music and great pub food. Short drive (or hike) to the ferry to the Aran Islands. We can’t wait to return!More
Very much enjoyed the B&B! Wonderful host and hostess, lots of places to go see, walking distance to many places and EXCELLENT Breakfast! Will stay again when I return to Ireland. Thank you Doonmacfelim House!
Beautiful guest house, well appointed rooms, the location was great...easy walk to the old village, just across the lovely bridge.I arrived by bus which stops a block away, and met up with a group, this spot was a perfect base to explore the surrounding countryside...for a few days and come home to a pot of tea and plate of biscuits served in the parlor by a roaring peat fire. Could have spent hours just looking out my window at the view! Food was first class...best part was the hospitality provided by Frank and Maryellen. Highly Recommended!!More
I am in Doolin with small groups twice a year. And we always stay with Frank and Maryellen. The location is perfect for exploring the village and visiting the pubs on foot. The rooms are beyond expectation. The food is delicious. But the best are...our hosts. Both so gracious and friendly. Couldn't ask for more. Strongly recommend this place...if you can get a booking. They are very popular!More
Frank, I owe you. Our family of four visited Doolin about midway on an April tour of Ireland. I'd read reviews that Frank is an amazing host, and after considering much more expensive options nearby, I booked a room at Doonmacfelim for the four of...us and then began to pester Frank for a special favor. You see, it was my husband's birthday and he's a celiac. Dealing with his gluten allergy when traveling can be so dicey finding safe food, and this time I wanted to make things great for him. So, I asked Frank if he knew of any place where I might find a gluten free cake or pie or anything birthday-ish, and instead of having me deal with it from the States, Frank set about securing a glorious GF cake the day before our arrival. He presented it to my husband the morning of his birthday at breakfast, song, candles and all, which was a huge hit with the kids (cake, eggs and tea!). My husband was touched by the whole episode and Frank's kindness. And, Frank proved to be invaluable in lots of other ways -- great recommendations for food and attractions, delicious food at breakfast, totally accommodating with the boys (who got to play soccer on the tennis court in back) and kept the peat fire nice and warm during chilly April days. I have all good things to say about our experience. It was truly memorable. Many belated thanks to you, Frank!More
Frank provides excellent and kind service (and great breakfast!) to his visitors. The rooms are clean and nice, we got 2 adjacent rooms for our family with one door to the hallway, so the kids could sleep without being locked out. Conveniently placed just outside...Doolin village with quick connection to the roads to the cliffs of Mohar and other sights/places. Love to be back.More
We stopped on our way back from Cliffs of Moher to check if there was a room available. The room was nicely decorated, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our room did not have an ensuite, but we had a private bathroom across...the hall. We felt very welcome and were offered advise on everything from where to eat to the location of the nearest shop and which route would be better for us when we left the next morning.More
Frank is a fantastic host! Our breakfast was delicious. We arrived in Doolin after flying all night from Boston to Cork, then driving to Doolin, and Frank was very welcoming as we stumbled in the door. We were only there for one night and attended...the Doolin Folk Festival, but it was amazing and would have stayed longer if we didn't have other places we needed to be. Wonderful stay!More
Moloney House Bed & Breakfast (formerly Doonmacfelim B&B) is a perfect country farm home in adorable Doolin, a stone's throw from the Cliff's Of Moher (where we had just visited). We spent just one night--far too little time!--in late May '16. Frank was a perfect...host. He took time out of his undoubtedly busy afternoon to chat with me and my husband, and gave us the run-down of the tiny hamlet of Doolin. Dinner and music at Gus O'Connor's is a must! The room was perfectly appointed, and the bed so comfortable! The morning was still and so quiet when we woke; a most relaxing country setting. Frank creates wonderful breakfasts--you will get your full Irish on here, or a plate of French toast: delicious! Upon our departure, Frank gave us excellent advice on exploring the Burren. He is a wealth of knowledge and we're so glad we followed his map into this mysterious and amazing piece of land and history. Thank you Frank! Of all our points of destination, my husband said he wished he spent more time in and around Doolin--we'll be back to Moloney House B&B!More
