Outstanding Irish food! We had the beef stew and Lamb Shank and was outstanding. Darcy and Katie performed outstanding service. If you want a local vibe with exceptional local food, this is your place to go in Dooling.

One of the best trad sessions I've heard/seen during my musical roundtrip through Ireland. Very nice atmosphere. If you want dinner as well; book ahead, I couldn't get a table (travelling solo)

I’ve been to many pubs and restaurants around Ireland. McGanns is hands down one of the greatest!! The service - especially Heidi and the one gentleman (I, unfortunately, didn’t catch his name) - were top notch! Hands down the best service we received while in...Ireland this time! The atmosphere- with all the locals - was exactly what we were looking for. The food was delish too. I cannot recommend this pub enough. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Ireland!!More

If you are looking for the pinnacle of Irish pub experience this is one of the placest you must visit. The food is outstanding. The pub has a history shown through photos and badges. The food is wonderful. All of the staff members continued to...make us feel warm and constantly asked if we were well and needed anything. One of the servers named Heidi was an absolute delight to interact with. She was easy going and always had a smile. The service was quick from order to table. When I am in Ireland again I will drive from wherever I am to this pub to have this experience again. Thank you!More

We arrived after the kitchen had closed (because we saw the sun set atop Hag's Head -highly recommended! ) but Niles brought us 2 AMAZING bowls of Beef Stew! One if the best meals I have had in Ireland! And THEN! We were treated to...live music by 2 amazingly talented and local players who invited singing along and requests from the crowd. We would return if we had nother night in the area!More

My partner and I were in Doolin for one night and we stopped here for dinner. It is the cosiest traditional irish pub with an open fire. We had the lamb shank and irish stew and both were incredible. The staff were so friendly and...welcoming too. Thank you, Hopefully we will be back one day!More

Local is the word here as although McGanns is in Doolin which is a very well known tourism hotspot beside the Cliffs of Moher, McGanns pub has a warm atmosphere, an enthusiastic welcome and is just great craic. We got fairly soaked after a freak...bit of hail at the Cliffs so we were not feeling great as we went in search of a local spot for some food and a pint. On arrival into the pub, we are enthusiastically greeted by a very friendly man who turned out to be the Niall the manager who introduced himself to us and was fun to watch as he made sure everyone in the whole pub was having and being taken care of. Also he recommended the Irish stew which we all loved and it’s a local recipe to the owner of the pub himself no less! We also had the good fortune to meet the fantastic young lady Faith, who also made sure we didn’t want for anything. Finished off with live traditional music by local lads which was super. Needless to say I recommend you try McGanns : )More

McGann’s Pub was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland! The food was amazing, the staff were just wonderful and the overall atmosphere couldn’t be beaten. If you’re going to Doolin to see the Cliffs of Moher, make time to come to McGanns!
