What a superb place , lovely food , great music and fantastic atmosphere. Probably one of the best Irish Stews I have ever eaten, packed with meat and veg in such a rich and flavour packed broth. Loved it ! The lamb shank was also...awesome.. beautifully cooked and good portion too. Music was the very talented Blackie O Connel. Superb Gunness followed by some great whisky recommendations. Absolutely fantastic night in Doolin.More

In this place we found all we were expecting from our irish trip: an old pub with nice food and beers, traditional music sessions and, most of all, beautiful people that gave our night a special taste. Perfect atmosphere.

Loved eating at McDermott's Pub. Service was great, the setting was fun and the stew was fantastic! They also have live Irish music in the evening.

Nice location in Doolin we only had to walk a few minues from our B&B. Burger very nice. Though the fish looked better! I'm sure all the food is good here. Nice time here.

Booked in for dinner last saturday with friends and we were slightly aghast to see others walking in & out, no masks. We were seated in a small alcove area away from others so decided to stay. No covid certs checked and we were told...to go to bar(which was packed!) For our drinks. Had our meals and left. So unfair to carry on like this when the pub we were in previous night (o connors) were fantastic and did everything right in keeping their customers safe. We all agreed that we felt uncomfortable and very unsafe in mcdermotts last saturday night !More

Lovely pub with a great bar food menu. I ordered the fish & chips & the portion was huge. The staff are very young but they are great, service was excellent all night. There was live trad music outside & a super atmosphere. It was...great to see people enjoying a night out again.More

I believe so. My son is a vegetarian and opted for three appetizers/sides all of which he enjoyed. I do believe there are vegetarian meal options as well.
