Dined at McDermotts Friday night. My husband and I both had lamb shanks as the main, he had the crumble as dessert and I had a selection of icecream. The food was lovely but the service as not up to scratch. We waited 50 mins...to get our main course and was told there was a mix up in the kitchen. I was surprised most of the staff were not wearing face masksMore

Fabulous Traditional Pub. Irish hospitality at its finest. Patsy McDermott and her team are a credit to Doolin. Excellent Food and Service. We stayed in Doolin for 2 nights and ate here both evenings, a good variety of dishes to cater for all palates. Great...range of draught lager, and Guinness to die for. Staff seemed to enjoy their work friendly and chatty. Patsy is the heart and soul of the place and chats to all tables and has the 'craic' with locals and tourists alike. We felt like locals when we called for a pint before our journey home (no problem getting a coffee for designated driver)... Thanks from Belleek CrewMore

Book ahead as this seems to be a popular spot with locals at the weekend. The menu has all the old reliables you would expect to see on a pub menu so there is something for everyone. The food itself is fine. Nothing major but...is ok all the same. Unfortunate that there is such a lack of social distancing here. Made for quite an uncomfortable experience.More

I believe so. My son is a vegetarian and opted for three appetizers/sides all of which he enjoyed. I do believe there are vegetarian meal options as well.
