Visited this restaurant after a long day of walking the cliffs of Moher. We wanted somewhere close by and a quick google found this great little place. Very glad we took a chance as the food was super and the staff extremely friendly. We had...a thoroughly enjoyable meal which was very reasonably priced, of particular note was the bread and butter pudding which was the best I have had in a very long time. All current COVID regulations were meticulously followed making our experience all the more enjoyable.More

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. Spag Bol & garlic bread were devoured by the kids. I enjoyed the chicken wrap special with chips & salad. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the chowder. Clean plates all round. Easy to park with a little playground which was a...lovely touch.More

The owner or manager was giving out about customer in front of us while holding the door open and it was cold as my back was to the door. Ordered our food with a staff member who was quite pleasant. The food was OK but...nothing to write home about and over price. When it came to paying the lady that seemed to be running the place asked if we wanted dessert we said no. She then when on to throw the face sheid onto the ground in a temper then when on to get our bill to find out there was no float in the till and had to go get one. She was quite rude a another member of staff in front of us. Looked very bad on her. Also during our visit a couple of people rang from outside and was sitting in the sun. A staff member went out with a menu but came back in very quickly after and said they was in for just tea and coffee. The owner/ manger did not seem one bit happy about this. Overall the experience was a very bad one and would not be going back even if I was about eat my hand with hungry! Very bad way of running a restaurant. Would give a zero rating if I could.More

I made my reservation on line a few weeks prior to arriving. I completed the reservation request for 3 x adults and 1 child ( a 15 year old) . When we arrived I followed the instructions that I was sent with the confirmation of...the booking (I called from the car to say that we had arrived) I was asked to give them a couple of minutes as they were cleaning the table which given the current situation is reassuring. When we entered I introduced myself and one of the waitresses ( the oldest of the waitresses) called out “ that’s 4 adults he’s not a 12 year old.., they’re trying to pull a fast one...” all of the diners in that vicinity could hear her and obviously looked at us. Now... the waitress is correct in the fact that my youngest son isn’t 12 or under but I never said that he was, but equally he isn’t a adult. The was no option on the booking request to put a teen and as a under 18 he’s a child... That set the tone for the meal. Where we were sat there was another 3 families on the adjacent tables, all clearly disgruntled as what became apparent was that they had been waiting quite sometime for their meals, all with children, some quite young. When’s it came to the food I ordered the salmon, my eldest son and husband ordered the burger and the youngest son. ( not under 12 but in fact 15) ordered the stew.. I really enjoyed my salmon, the 2 burgers were in fact not burgers but actually what I’d describe as 2 meatballs on the bottom of a burger bun ( no top of the bun) and the stew had 3 huge unpeeled/ uncut potatoes in it. The toilets were not clean and clearly were not checked on a regular basis... Since our visit we have been to some fabulous places to eat in Lehinch and Doolin village, with great atmosphere, fabulous food, pleasant and courteous staff. We have since laughed at our shocking experience at this particular restaurant. I totally get that it’s tough for businesses under the current circumstances but service and quality is vital. I would not recommend this place at all, spend your money in Doolin village...More

From start to finish we knew the place was not for us but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Burger and chips. They couldn't even make that right. Burger buns from the freezer. Two small beef patties and one bun. Steak and chips.. Steak...was as grey as an elephant. Chips were frozen bag. Onion rings so greasy. Over staffed. Staff that were there didn't scratch themselves. The Owner or boss running doing it all.. Poor management skills. No social distancing. Service was slow. Staff talking inappropriatly Toilets were filthy.. Especially the women's.. Paper everywhere. Toilet was filthy. And no soap. Hand dryer was broken. Alot of foods / beverage out of stock Avoid at all costs.More

Stopped here for lunch and ordered 2 delicious steak sandwiches served with chips and salad. The staff were very friendly and were wearing face masks at the table. There plenty of parking and there is also a playground outside which would be great for kids.

Called here a day we went to cliffs of moher. After reading reviews I was expecting good things. But sadly I was let down, servers seemed disinterested in our business, and it was either manager or owner sitting at small table as we walked in,...we had a table booked but it did not seem to matter, We sat down and asked about specials? And were told to head back out away from our table to look at a chalk board. (Seriously? Do you not know what they are? Ever heard of service with a smile? Could you not of just told us? I had the fis and chips, which was average and chips were just bog standard frozen chips. I had a cider off the menu which turned out to be a can of Bulmer and at €6 (if I remember, ber correctly?) for the can not good. I feel you can be lucky here but the day we call im afraid not. Not sure if they will care here, but I expect there is not a big regular following at this restaurant as with their location they will always have a consistent stream of new new customers, all visiting the nearby cliffs of moher. And it has such potential. Very disappointed and left wondering howmits getting such good reviews?More
